I don't see why anyone would kiss it. Honestly, it's not like we exclusively look at behavior shown post hiring announcements. There's much more to it than that.

So really, there's no point in sucking up. Plus, why degrade yourself like that? This in an internet forum and it's not like you're getting paid. It's just a fun (most of the time) place to be and moderating (again, for the most part ;) ) is a fun thing to be a part of.

Which is why someone should have no problem expressing their thoughts and like playing devil's advocate :)

On another note: i am not starting any feuds for the next week nothing to worry about Spencer.

maybe it's irrelevant by now and nothing worth paying attention to, but i was thinking today about how thomas withdrew his application, then asked on the last day for it to be put back in. of course, i'm not just saying this because i don't like him, but i think that if you were to withdraw your application for whatever reason, you're not going to be able to actually handle the next part which is being on staff. i know, i know, I KNOW, he's been on staff before; i've heard it everyday, but if you are going to question your ability by actually not running and then at the last minute ask to be put back in the running, then it's not worth getting the position.

Why did he withdraw in the first place? I forget.

I mean...he's applying for a different position than I am, but if i were applying for DESIGN and i didn't get it but he did, i'd be upset.

I completely agree with that. It's kind of like if you went to get ice cream for you and your friends, and one of your friends didn't want one. Then when you came back from getting ice cream, the friend that didn't want one stole yours. It's unfair and immature mainly because the changed their mind afterward and you couldn't do a thing about it.
