Should people who think America sucks so bad stay in America? I personally think that if you hate the country so much, and all you do is bitch and moan about it, then you should pack yo bags :)

That or try to do something about it.

Yeah, there's really no point in staying if you don't like it.

Some people can't afford to leave though.

I like America but I don't agree with a lot America has done and doing now. The people that hate America might not have the money to leave.

I never heard someone crying about living in America. If I did I don't remember. These people can complain all they want. There is freedon of speech. Once they go somewhere else they're going to realize how America is better.

I think an American has the right to complain. My family has been here for hundreds of years and fought in just about every war... so I feel like I have every right to question how things are being handled.

I see that such called "Freedom Of Speech" is very important to you, but let me ask you something, does that "Freedom Of Speech" fills your stomak too? I really doubt it. It doesn't really matter if you ARE allowed to cry or complain about, what matters is that noone is doing anything about it, so its all just plain simple words trown in vain after whom you are more hungry then before.

But sitting there and complaining while not trying to do anything isn't exactly beneficial by any means. People who bitch and moan just add to the problem.

What does someone being hungry have anything to do with this? These people that just complain and complain, just let them. I just go on with my life and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, so when they see the world moving on, they have one option rather they want to stay or join with us.

i completely agree

this is only my personal experience, but the people i know that bitch and complain about america, are the same people who don't register to vote, and don't intend on helping change anything. they just wanna complain

i think im talking about different people than u, i don't mean people who don't like how something is being handled, ect. the people i'm talking about are those who just sit around and claim to hate America and think its awful bla bla bla. i agree everyone has a right to disagree with how some things are, i disagree with a lot of things, but i don't think America sucks

I love America, with that said though, one of the things that I love about America is that people are free to complain. It's one of the basic rights in America that people take for granted.

It's in the Constitution folks. Let them have their say and you can argue with them.

I haven't got anything against complaining. I've got an issue with people who complain and aren't willing to do anything about it other than pester others.

So what do you expect a high school student to do? All I can do is vote.

Bad attitude right there, IMO. If you really want to, you can do much more than just vote. Voting is the minimum one should do for their country. You can get involved in political organizations, groups, etc. You can try to spread awareness, or try to convince others to vote. You can start groups that help you out with those goals. There have been people in high school that have made differences. It may not be something that goes down in text books, but I'm positive that there have been those extraordinary individuals.

People like to complain, thats what people do.

Some might think america sucks, but think other countries suck a lot more.

Also, I dont know how old you are, but alot of my friend complain about it and cant leave or get involved because they are too young.

14 year olds cant just hop on a plane and move to asia.

I think every citizen has the right to criticize his / her country afterall, it is your country. However, I don't with when non Belgians (I'll use Belgium because I'm not American) say; I hate Belgium, the weather sucks, the country is boring, my country is better yadi yada. That's a no - no. If you hate it that much, try to do something that could help improve it for you or GTFO.
