How many of you do wear glasses or contacts?

I think a lot ofpeople have to wear glasses or contacts. I do it myself. Do you wearany kind of eyewear? and how strong a presciption do you need?
my glasses are -7 and my contacts are -6

I wear glasses because I'm nearsighted but I really want contacts especially when I drive.

Contacts out, glasses at home. My glasses's thickness is only about 1.75 though. or 2.00. pinch.gif

when i go out, i wear my contacts but when i`m at home, i just use my eyeglasses.

-3.5 for both eyes.

i wear glasses. i woudl get contacts but im afraid 2 touch my eyes lol...and i'm waiting for laser eye surgery...till then, i'm blind as a bat...i have an astigmatism, so yea...my eyes are pretty bad

But yeah, I don't usually wear my glasses outside of my house or if I'm staying the night somewhere...but my boyfriend loves them so I'm working on wearing them a bit more hehe...

i was stupid in 8th grade and lied to my mom to cover up the real reason i was slacking in school. now i cant see anything without contacts. but because of my allergies i dont even wear them :[

I was born with Cataracts, so the lenses in my eyes were all sorts of retarded. Now that there removed my vision is like.. 20/300? But I can either wear glasses OR contacts-I prefer contacts though.. So I think my perscription is like.. -11? Haha I win, my eyesights worse. =]

I want to get LASIK later, because contacts bother my eyes and are a hassle to put in. But I don't like wearing glasses either because sometimes they get in the way.

LOL. Me and Sean were talking about contacts on AIM earlier, and we were talking about prescription, etc. He is a -3.25 -3.00. He thought he was hella blind, but I told him I'm a -4.25. LOL. But to read you are a -5.00 makes me feel so much better LOL. I've never met or know anyone who's blinder than me before. :)

and i wear both, depending on my laziness. I have to wear soft lenses during the day, and hard lenses at night; I wear my glasses when I just don't feel like wearing contacts or want to match my clothes


my prescription was already -4 when I was 8

I alternate between glasses and contacts, but contacts suffocate my eyes. I used to wear contacts a lot but I prefer the way it feels when I don't wear them, of course.
