I also wanted to point out how amusing it is to see a certain Staff member become the very thing he fought against. Talk about brain washing.

You're right.
It totally sucks when people change for the worse due to a corruptive influence. Tragic. |

I apologize for being off topic.
Nothing I have to say here is relevant to the performance of any mods. |

Gah, Feedback is deffinately a place that's confusing me. I find it funny that people who used to be on staff are against staff now. I mean, c'mon, you used to be with the group that you now despise?

Maybe because there's been a drastic change in the quality of staff members since we were on board, and if had still been around we probably never would have let these people on staff. |

I have a question.
Can people be human, and make mistakes? |

But come on, what were the requirements for staff at that time? Asking Jusun? I asked Gina to mod me and she said "definitely." But thats because I had about 20 good xanga layouts submitted to cB, I was grossly involved in the help forums and actually knew what I was talking about. Yes there were less requirements for modship back in the day but that's because there were a lot less members. Those qualified for the job were obvious picks. Now that there are so many people on the forum, you would think it would be easier to find good mods. But no, it's the opposite. Because there are so many people in the forum, the only members that have any chance of becoming a moderator are the asskissers that are already good friends with the mods, regardless of who's qualified or not. |

And how do you really know that? When was the last hiring session you have been around for besides this one (barely)?
You don't know who's "ass kissing" or not. You haven't been active in the community in light years, and you don't go in the createBlog chat. Where are you getting all of this from? And to address your statement that, "Maybe if the old mods had stuck around it would've prevented this"--maybe it WOULD HAVE. But you didn't. We can't wind the clock back three years, and complaining day in and day out isn't going to solve anything. We can't go back in time, so let's "fix" what's in the present. We're currently discussing mod punishment in feedback, as well as backstage. Thanks for your lovely idea. If you keep pumping out ideas, we will work with you--like we are now. But it's time to look forward, and stop looking back. My neck is starting to hurt. |
