So with all of the Harry Potter stuff going around the world/internet/myspace/facebook/etc....i've been thinking abtout which house i would be. (obviously many others have been, too)
according to one online test, I'm a Slytherin. according to another i'm a Hufflepuff...myspace survey said i was a Ravenclaw and facebook put me in Gryffindor!
WTF PEOPLE?!
so, throw away all of those tests and surveys...

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Which House do you honestly & genuinely think you would get sorted into.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Gryffindor values courage, chivalry and boldness above all else. Its animal is the lion, and its colours are scarlet and gold. Nearly Headless Nick is the house ghost. Gryffindor corresponds roughly to the element of fire. The founder of the house is Godric Gryffindor.

Hufflepuff, founded by Helga Hufflepuff, values hard work, loyalty, patience, friendship and fair play above all else. Its animal is the badger, and canary yellow and black are its colours. The Fat Friar is its ghost. Hufflepuff corresponds roughly to the element of earth. One of the two Hogwart's Champions for the Tri-Wizard Tournament came from Hufflepuff.

Ravenclaw values intelligence, knowledge and wit. Its animal is the eagle (not the raven as might be expected), and its colours are blue and bronze . The house ghost is the Grey Lady, daughter of the house's founder - Rowena Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw corresponds roughly to the element of air.

Like Salazar Slytherin, its founder, Slytherin house values ambition, cunning, resourcefulness and pure blood heritage. The book also suggests that power-hunger is a characteristic of Slytherins. Its animal is the serpent, and its colours are green and silver. The Bloody Baron is the house ghost. Slytherin corresponds roughly to the element of water.

I'm in between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. I like intelligence and all that stuff, but not THAT much. And Hufflepuff might get too cutesy at times.

LOL. Gryffindor and Slytherin are too overrated.
Really? Most of the responses here are either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I think the glamour of Gryffindor and Slytherin has become a turn-off, thus kind of balancing out how focused Rowling on Gryffindor and Slytherin and making all of the Houses pretty equal. shrug.gif

(Did that make sense to anyone?)

slytherin, no contest.
i'm more ambitious than anything, and i'm one of the most power-hungry people ever. i'm not impressed with bravery, especially when you can get the job done through other means.

i'm not exactly brilliant with school either.
rowling antagonizes slytherin in the books way too much.

Probably when Albus was all worried about being in Slytherin and Harry said he didn't care.

Anywho, the main thing about Slytherin is self-preservation. They're not necessarily mean, just look out for themselves more than others.

If you don't look out for number one, you won't last long enough to look out for anyone else.
