Do you hate it when you can't find a book at a bookstore or library? Either its "Sold Out" or "Missing"? This ALWAYS happens to me! Then you have to pre-order it or reserve the book until 2 weeks later..COME ON: when I find a book thats interesting, I WANT TO READ IT RIGHT AWAY! stubborn.gif

Yup all the time. I 've ordered books from borders all the time because they never have it and I don't want to drive an hour or two all the way to another city just to get it.

YES, I hate the feeling, mostly when I go to the library it is for school so I have to have it because I want to get it over with. I always run into those rude librarians with an attitude problem.

B&N didn't have this one book I wanted, so I pre-ordered it, and then it got lost on the truck, and then again in shipping, that I didn't get my book until a month later. So angry. But, eh, I got the book eventually, so it's all good.

I hate when I need a book at the Library and someone has checked it out. Then I hafta go "Library-Jumping" to find it.

But, when it's like a book I wanna read for fun, if it's sold out or something at B&N, I always try to get into another book. happy.gif

That's why I stopped going to the library. They NEVER had any of the books that I like to read! So now I just spend days at B&N or purchase books that I know I will re-read. I have my own library :P

Yeah, I hate when that happens. There's this book I've been wanting, but I haven't seen it in any bookstore I've walked into. sad.gif

I hate when books are sold out too, so every time when I buy books I buy them from amazon.com instead.

Sometimes when you search for a certain book it shows something like "10 Used & New Books for $____" And some entries have USED books for 1 cent. My friend bought a book for one cent before, but of course you have to pay for shipping too (unless you get free shipping by becoming a frequent amazon.com user, then it would be good).

That kinda happened to me earlier this summer. I went to B&N, but both of the books I needed were sold out, so I went online and ordered them. I got the first book on time, but the other was rescheduled and wouldn't come in for another week. I FINALLY got the package only to see that they shipped me the wrong book. stubborn.gif

I've yet to return it... I haven't exactly gotten to it yet.

Oh, I hate that. Its either that or they don't have the book. mellow.gif That's why I had to go all the way to Thailand to get the last books of the Cirque Du Freak series.

this kind of thing usually happens at our public library. it absolutely annoys the hell out of me. plus, the first (sometimes, even the second) time you tell them the book`s not there, they look at you like you`re an idiot and look for the book themselves. ugh. then when they finally admit that the book's not there, they have to borrow it from another library.

sometimes, i can't find books at barnes and noble and it pisses me off. it`s like, "you`re supposed to be a book superstore, and yet you don`t have what i`m looking for. well, that`s great."

i guess i have issues with books. blush.gif

Amen to that.

I have to reserve them online.
But that takes a long time.
