it took me forever to understand faces. but i'm stubborn with asking people. i realized that ;_;/T_T is crying. and like, xD is like, lol. :3 is a cat face (i don't get it...) but i don't really get ~_~;

Nup, T_T is "crying"

The top part of the T is like a long/closed eye and the | long vertical part is like tears running down the face... and then the underscore _ is the mouth. I kinda suck at explaining. Urban dictionary may have some of this.. I think, lol. Also Q_Q is accosiated with crying too.. somehow. I use it alot, just cause its so weird. Same thing... two big eyes, a mouth and two "tears".

I use this too "^^" after some sentences. Kinda hard to explain what it means though.

It took me the longest time to see both the crying face and the glare of T_T, which is so conveniently ruined by my font. Oh well, I'm sure we'll cope. :x

I think the hardest to guess are those Japanese ones (with tons of symbols).

instead of people just replying to the same smiles over and over again, we should just make a long list, it'll reduce the amount of repeats and make things more simple.
