Since I could only put ten answers in the poll, I would think that a lot of people have more ideas :) For me, the most romantic thing ever was actually the first time I cried in front of him and he wiped my tears away and kissed my eyelids and held me until I calmed down. |

after pulling up to my house after a date, my [now ex] boyfriend got out of the car, ran to the passenger side & said 'i just HAVE to do this' & he dipped me & kissed me for a long time. it was very romantic. it was at night too.

Being kissed while he thinks I'm asleep. Then he's not trying to impress anyone OR me. He's just doing it for his own benefit, just because he really wants to. He's not trying to score points or anything.....that's when you know it's more than a crush
My 2nd would be love at first sight. I'm a 'disney princess fall in love on first sight there's a soul mate for everyone' kind of girl. Too bad I've never had either of those happen. Still romantic. |

There all romantic. I always used to kiss my ex on the lips when I thought she was asleep.
Anyways to add to that: A surprise dinner, well kinda. Bring her home to a house filled with flower petals sprayed acrossed the floor, a sweet aroma lavishing throughout the house as we both have a candle lit dinner with some smooth background music and a bottle of champagne. Give her a long, soothing massage as she relaxes followed up with a bubble bath. Wrapping my self around her from behind as we look at a nice view (The moonlight dancing across an ocean or something like that). There's loads more but I'll stop with that....and yes I do have soo many, maybe too many romantic ideas. |

I chose other. I remember the most romantic time that I had with my boyfriend. He was at a gig one time (he's in a band called Fictional Drift) and he got me backstage. So there was this huge band room that everyone hung out in when they weren't on stage. The show hadn't started yet, so we got on the piano and played together. At one point, he grabbed my hands and took them off the piano. He faced me and told me that he isn't really sure of much in life. He's not sure where exactly his band is going - isn't sure of what his parents are going to think of him in the future, isn't really sure of anything. Then he said that there's one thing that he is sure of: "I'm in love with you. I've never been so sure of anything in my life. I wake up and you're the first person that I think of. I'm a better person because of you. You're the only one who believes in me and will stick by me on my bad days, too." And he went on for a while, hardly blinking, looking me straight in the eyes. That was a special moment because he has a hard time with eye contact. |
