Sort of the same reasons as you..I started a few days ago. I'm using is for acne..I'm using Yazmin and the doctor said that kind wouldn't make my boobs grow or cause weight gain or anything..which is good. My friends boobs grew when she was on it..then she got off..aka stretch marks. yeah..don't want that. But it's so sore there right now =[ Anyway..I don't have sex or anything but I guess my mom also wanted me on it..just incase.?
oh and plus...it makes my periods easy and preeedicatble =] |

Well there is one birth control pill that allows you to only have 4 periods a year. I would just take it for that soul purpose

I dont use birth control. The only way i would use it if i needed BIRTH CONTROL not to help with my acne i mean geeze its called birth control not i help you with your periods or acne.

Yes it will help with acne, and yes it will help you with your period. In fact, it will completely stop your period, which is the point, right? But BC is not good for you at all. We have periods because we are meant to have periods. What comes out is meant to come out. BC actually has a lot of estrogen which, in fact, is a hormone we already have too much of. Estrogen gives boys breasts, and it makes girls start puberty too early. Estrogen is in meats and milks because it's what farmers give animals to get them beefy. But most women have such bad period problems BECAUSE of estrogen, and giving yourself more doesn't help. And being on BC for more than 5 years will cause miscarriages and it will put your fertility rate down by 50%. |

Birth control doesn't lower your fertility rate after you're off of it. And we don't have 'too much' estrogen. Estrogen is the primary female hormone which gives women the characteristics of their gender. Yes, hormonal birth control does supress natural ovulation and natural menstruation, but it's not bad for you. There's proof that it can actually be beneficial, such as helping with iron deficiency (anemia). You're saying women have period problems because of estrogen? Well, no way! If women didn't have estrogen, they wouldn't menstruate at all. In fact, they wouldn't be females at all. Get your facts straight before you scare teenage girls who don't know better. |

i have birth control for 2 reasons. the 1st one is cuz im sexually active and the other is bc i have scar tissue on the left side of my uterus. so my doc is tryen to see if she can clear it up w/b.c
