I personally think it's too young. Nobody's going to guarantee that you guys are both going to go to the same college + get married. You might find somebody else when you're older.
I mean, if you know the risks and what might happen, I guess it's fine. |

Well you seem to know the risks and are using protection which is great on your parts, but it's really your choice. I do believe it is kind of young, but its your own decision and you just have to prepared to deal with any consequences that come out of it.

I don't know where you are with your relationship with him or anything, but based on your post, it sounds like you're unsure. you have to ask yourself these questions, and if you can live with all that, well, its your life, not mine: why would you be unsure if its ok? why are you unsure if you don't think its wrong? what will people think of you if they knew (maybe they already do)? what kind of an impression will/do you have on other guys? what about your parents? etc... |

Well, I mean I'm fourteen too, & I would never consider having sex right now.
But if you think you might be in love with him.. i mean do what you want. I know how it feels when people are like "You're to young to be in love" But i personally think you cant put a age limit on love. BUT I kinda do think fourteen is a little .. well alot young for sex. But not for loving someone. |

Ummmm, yeah.
 If you arent willing to face what could result from doing it, then dont do it. I mean, what if you get a disease, or get pregnant? I dont think that's something a fourteen year-old can usually handle. Personally, I think its wise to wait till you're finished with highschool.

I am 14 and just had it for the first time. Its better to really wait. It might turn in to a constant thing. And not to scare you, but think of the positibilities and the consiquences.

sex is never wrong if both parties consent, they're well informed of the risks, and they're responsible about it.
I personally don't think you have to truely love each other... as long as you both want to do it, w/e. |

I think it is wrong for teenagers ages 13-17 to have sex, cause they are nothing but children themselves. They should wait until they are done with school. Seriously Sex is not a game and isn't to be taken lightly. Seriously get an education first and finish school and make something of yourself. I have had friends that in their teen years ended up pregnant. a majority of teenage girls/guys are stupid and don't know what love is. seriously you end up pregnant you messed up your life for good and won't be able to go to concerts, hangout with friends, go to movies, etc... So sex can wait. I waited til I was 23 and my sister waited til she was married.

i think it is wrong to have sex at 14.... im for sex after marriage. I totally understand the temptations sometimes... but everyone has the willpower and strength to overcome these temptations. Youre 14: go outside and kick around a soccer ball or something, dont leave time open to fall into it...

But I guess it's what views you were raised learning and what views you think are right. some people (like most of cB) take it very seriously others (like myself) don't take it seriously at all and I know many people who don't take it seriously. |
