No, none of my friends really share the same style. I really wouldn't care if my friend wore the same clothes as me. Maybe you should shop at less generic places.

Nope. We might have the same fashion taste, but we dont like the same colors, or the same style. So we hardly ever dress the same.

Not at all.

But everyone shops at american eagle, what do you expect? It's not like she's copying a unique style or anything, it's pretty generic.

Sometimes it happens but I don't really care. So what if they have the same clothes as you do? It doesn't mean you share a brain. Practically everyone owns clothing from AE.

And why would you call your friend ugly?

wow. WOW. how old are you? you sound so incredibly immature.

get a clue. millions of other people shop at AE. you don't own the brand or any special color. how about this? just wear what the hell you want, whenever you want.

Branch out, little girl. American Eagle isn't the only thing you can wear.
You shouldn't be calling people ugly; it only makes your personality uglier.

Now look, it can be pretty annoying having someone always copy you; even if it's your looks, hair, clothes, even personality. And I can relate to you. But you have to get over it. There's nothing you can do about it (unless you talk to her about it) and you're just wasting your energy getting angry about it. Besides, alot worse things that are happening around the world and you should just appreciate what you have.

Now at my school, everyone wears Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, etc so chances are, there are at least 3 people who have the same shirt as you do. Anyways, either talk to her (even though she didn't anything wrong) or shop somewhere else.

She didn't say anything about her friend copying her clothes or personality.

And how do we know that she's ugly and you're not?

Just wear the damn hoodie.

I mean seriously if someone went out and bought something that they knew i had and purposely bought it because i had it, I would be mad. But that has never happened.

Just because you have the same shirt as someone doesnt mean they are out to destroy your life.

Ive heard people talking about how like 5 people at our school has the same shirt.

They just all like the shirt, they dont go out and buy it because other people have it. Most people at my school dont get all pissed off for having the same shirt

Her friend is copying her clothes. And I was using hair and personality as examples of how someone that's copying you in some way can annoying.

Actually, Diana, I think it's more about relationships since she's talking about her being pissed at her friend for having the same clothes that she does.

You should definitely tell your friend.

And just because you say that your friend is "ugly", doesn't mean that other people would think that she's ugly.

Wow, you sound JUST LIKE MY SISTER. Back when I wore a few clothes that were Abercrombie, she would say "Oh, that doesn't look good on you!" or say "OMG, Is that A&F? Ew, BITER!" Biter as in copycat. I just looked at her and said, "You know what? Ew. You don't OWN this label." At least I'm not all decked out in that label. My sister was the total A&F freak and would always look me up and down. o__O"

Anyways, back to this. Honestly, girl, you DON'T OWN the label. If it's so annoying, tell your friend that it bothers you, but you're probably not going to get a very nice answer because she's most likely going to tell you that there are other people with the same clothes. Plus, if I were you, I would feel flattered. wink.gif

Plus, I think EVERYONE copies others (except maybe original designers themselves) in fashion, in one way or another, even if it's in a subtle way. As for hair, since someone mentioned it, that's similar to fashion because i see many people with similar hairstyles.

Now, PERSONALITY is a different story. Personalities can be copied, but only to a certain extent. Now THAT is something to gripe about because what if other people start telling you that you're an imitation of the person who is imitating you? Of couse, this thread isn't about personality. whistling.gif

The band sweatshirt - seriously, I bet a bunch of other people have that too. They have a lot of fans and fanclothes are not really exclusive, KTHXBYE.

No, that never happens. Well, in sixth grade we had the same sweatshirts because we were both invited to a bat mitzvah and at the end they gave out sweatshirts. Actually, almost everyone in the sixth grade had the sweatshirt so it wasn't copying I guess..

^I agree.

If you didn't buy most your clothes from American Eagle and somebody kept copying you, it'd be upsetting, yes. But c'mon... American Eagle? A lot of people buy clothes from AE. Buy clothes from different, less known places- or get over it.

AMERICAN EAGLE CLOTHES SUCK.

Sorry, just had to say it. Such poor quality. I tried on a sweater shirt thing because I thought it was cute. While I'm trying it on, I'm struggling to get my arms through the sleeves, and the rest of the shirt is baggy. And I wear an XS. WTF?! Talk about DISPROPORTIONATE, especially since they PIN the clothes on the mannequins to make it APPEAR like it fits. Ew, no.

I congratulate A&F for not doing that, since their clothes are tight-fitted anyway. What you see is what you get.

Sure, it's affordable, but it's too trendy and unoriginal. whistling.gif

So like, um, is your friend STILL copying you? whistling.gif

This is why you don't shop at places where everyone gets the exact same shirt in every color.

You can shop wherever, but do know that you aren't the only with that outfit. Also about your insult, what does her being ugly wearing the same outfit as you have to with how you look in it? Wouldn't it help your appearance? American Eagle isn't exclusive, get over it.
