What's the point of this?
I guess, I'll just say which I prefer.

I have an Ipod, so I suppose Ipod.
But, I wouldn't mind having a Zune.
I think I'll wait until they make a Zune 2, or whatever they'll call it.

Given the stellar success of the Zune, I'm sure that'll happen. rolleyes.gif

Yeah I don't know what's the point of this but anyways I have an Ipod but If I had a chance to switch either to a zune. I would.
Zune looks way better.

I guess I should take note of your italic sarcasm.
And, I'm positive they will make a followup Zune.

Zune does beat the iPod in many ways, so do many other MP3 players out there, though iPod's the norm.

First of all, that isn't a question.
And, the title is "Zune vs. Ipod", not "Zune .... or Ipod?".

^Come on, it's obviously a comparison of which one's better. Quite simple.

I like iPods because they are simple. I don't need an MP3 to pay my taxes, or teach me the cha cha slide. I need it to play music, and an iPod satisfies me. _smile.gif

I'm sorry, I didn't realize so many people cared about what I said.
In case you didn't notice, I did catch what the topic starter was trying to say, &I did say which I liked better.

You forgot another tough competitor. The Zen. My little sister has one and it's pretty hot.

I don't see what's so great about Zune.
I mean you can transfer songs b/w Zunes, but I don't know a single person that owns one.
iPods are nice, simple, and come in a variety of colors and sizes and styles so there's bound to be one you usually like. The operation of an iPod is just as simple. Oh, and it's lightweight and thin.

I think the Zune is better for video-oriented consumers, and the iPod is better for the music lovers.

I'd love to try the Zune, to replace my iPod, but it's very bulky and I don't like how the controls are formatted.
Are Zunes compatible with Macs?

I actually think the Zune design is cool... I like how big the screen is, and the display, too. It's also nice there's a radio function in it. But there's no compatability with Macs, if I'm not wrong, so that wouldn't work for me... seeing as I'm using a Macbook.
I'd also hesitate to get one because I'm not sure of its selection of songs at the Zune Marketplace. I've heard there is a $14.99/month, unlimited downloads deal with the Zune, but iTunes has so many artists/tv shows now...

iPod wins, in my case. thumbsup.gif

I guess Zune can work with a Mac if you're using Windows. :/
But mine doesn't have Intel, I have the old, PowerPC.
