I'm honest, and direct. There is no reason to lie, especially given that I am right most of the time.

Although, someone who lies isn't going to say 'i lie', because if they were honest enough to admit to it here, they woul dprobably have been too honest to lie in the first place.

And thats probably why there isn't many posts. Also guys I didn't really mean for you to follow the footsteps of your friends in real life opinions because well simply put most people don't have real life friends on this site. I meant your createblog friends, the ones you probably spend hours talking to outside of createblog and if they were to post in somewhere doing something wrong or just funny would you back them up 100% even if you felt like it was wrong.

That's not really the best way of being a friend, as I see it... but that's a tangent.

Oh and "that's probably why there aren't many posts."

I'm honest on here. What's the point in lying online? (Besides you know, if you wanna get some cyber sex and you're a 300 pound guy who lives in your parents' garage.) Or if I'm being sarcastic, but that's different.

I tend to lie IRL sometimes. Usually it's small things like saying I'm not on the phone when my cell is actually underneath my pillow. I also like to exaggerate IRL to see if my friends actually believe me. rolleyes.gif

Yeah, that's exactly why you totally tore me apart two hiring sessions ago when I told Kathleen off... James you party bashed all the time before you were on staff.

It's funny how you say, "Although, someone who lies isn't going to say 'i lie', because if they were honest enough to admit to it here, they would probably have been too honest to lie in the first place." Maybe that's you... :O! Maybe you're too "honest" to lie... haha

How is that an example of him being dishonest?

I'm not "backing anyone up" or anything, so don't flip out; I agree bashing was abundant (and still is, from both sides), I am just failing to see how that is dishonesty.

^ That's exactly what I was just thinking of...

And again, I should point out that, bashing or no bashing, I was right.

I am selectively honest. That does not mean that I lie, but I like to keep my mouth shut and things I instinctively know will cause trouble. That, to some, means that I'm being dishonest by not voicing my opinion, but there's a fine line between being rudely "honest" and being blunt.

That's an interesting question. Style-wise, I tend to follow trends or be inspired by my friends. I usually try to blog about interesting things and I'm always truthful to some degree. (My mom reads my website.)

I think I'm pretty honest on here. It's not like I spill everything I'm thinking, but I don't post the opposite of what I think or anything.

Maybe you were being honest. I just feel as if you just jumped on the bandwagon with your "friends" so you could make me look like shit. It really pissed me off. That one hiring season is the reason I bash the shit out of you to this very day. I actually cared back then James.

I think it's funny that some people who are proclaiming their honesty in this thread, aren't being honest! rofl1.gif

Anyway, I'm honest about who I am or how I am. I'm honest about what I think, and how I think things should be run.

But I'm not "bluntly honest", which is a term some people like to use. Sometimes I won't say things in a bluntly honest way, if I know it's really gonna hurt someone's feelings (on here or IRL). I'll either tone it down a bit, or just bite my damn tongue. And other times..I'll just say it how it is.

You can be honest, and still be civil. So since there are exceptions to my honesty, I guess I'm not 100% honest. Neither is anyone else. And I'm being honest victory.gif

I think I should learn a lesson from you Brownsugar. I am probably one of the biggest blunt objects on this site, but at times it's not a good thing.

I was right about Kathleen.

And no, Josh, I was quite capable of coming to the conclusion indepndently. When several people reach the same conclusion, it doesn't mean that they're following one another, just that the conclusion is glaringly obvious.

And if that thread is the sole reason you feel the need to make a spectacle of yourself, I suggest you get over it.

What are you talking about? I think you're just taking me out of context. I was just telling why don't like you so hopefully we could look past what happened. Maybe we could talk about it. Maybe we could make things right, but no... you just take another stab at making me look bad.

James, you suck british bollocks. Go drink some tea at noon and fail to brush your teeth fifteen months in a row. Listen to your Brit rockers pretend to be American, while our Americans pretend to be Brits. Why act so superior when the mother country is worse off than the damned stepchild. You red coat, limy bitch, go eat pickled eggs at an irish pub Gooday Guvna.

THANK YOU.

I've been avoiding this thread because I could smell the stench of hypocrisy before reading any of the posts.

Also, there's a difference between being totally honest and saying sh*t because you know/think it will piss people off.

Shock factor, particularly on internet forums is a trite and dull affair at this point. So is calling people out. NO ONE CARES. rolleyes.gif

And lemmings? You guys do know what they are and how they're used symbolically right? I mean, other than what the all mighty wikipedia provides, that is. whistling.gif (I think the idea is there/here, but again, too commonly used/misused).

My response: Why don't YOU decide? wink.gif

Oh and I'm 5'9, I have long naturally purple hair, green eyes, totally toned body, huge breasts and not one wrinkle. I'm a Goddess. That is no lie. cool.gif

Ahaha, should I even reply here.. I'm sure people are aware that I'm brutally honest as it is. Hence why most of them don't particularly like me.

I know you're honest... I have witnessed your honesty... xD

Rebecca, the only reason I reffered to some of the members as lemmings is because people here on cB tend to blindly follow eachother in agreement. I'm comparing members on cB to the lemming's "mass suicide" myth.

Ha. :P

I'll be the first to admit that I don't always speak what's on my mind (lying by omission is still a lie) but I won't flat out say something I don't mean. If I don't think I'd be able to say what I'm really thinking, I don't say anything at all, which is why it's so hard for me to be confronted in person I think. I do think I've gotten better over the last couple of years, as I've come across a couple of situations that made me realize I was letting myself get walked on and I'm trying harder to speak up. I tend to worry about hurting people's feelings too much, and that's something I've kinda just had to get over.
