I don't think it's wrong, I just think it's incredibly stupid. Give it a few years, and you'll really regret losing it when you did.

It truly depends on the person, but from your post I think its kind of wrong on what your doing. To go out and have sex with this guy that says he loves you but you know he doesn't but yet you still hang around and have sex still.

I really think you should think about the situation your putting yourself in and what kind of person that makes you sound like. I think you should stop having sex and wait until it will actually mean something.

^wow. that was the MOST informative post ever.

to the topic: i think 14 is too young. 14 is just fresh out of puberty. you also said you weren't quite sure if he loved you. honestly, nothing we say can stop you from doing what you want. at least you're smart and use protection.

i think that you do have problems with your age and having sex at this time or else you wouldn't ask us if it was wrong.

Everyone has different opinions on this... and therefor only you can know when it's right or not. Some people might think it's wrong because you're 14 and don't know what true love is, and others don't. It all depends. Personally, the first time I had sex was when I was (stil are) 15. It's really you're choice and your choice only. Just make sure you use protection and that you realize that there's still a chance of becoming pregnant even if you do use it right.

well i'm 14 and i have a boyfriend....i would never havesex with him...atleast not yet...im feeling that its not an appropiate age to have sex...we're still just kids and we need to have fun while we're still kids...you'll have more years to come for sex. and plus i don't feel mentally prepared to have sex at this age. but than again that's just me. If you feel that you're mature enough and mentally prepared anough to have sex than theres noone to stop you and if you have no regrets or double thinking about it ten ur good to go...atleast ur using condoms

How do you know it doesn't mean anything to her?

I think sex is very much overrated. The entire concept of "wait until it means something" is flawed. It means something to her now, even if she isn't in love, and I say do what you want.

Even moreso, she proved that she is responsible with sex, always using protection. The reason why teenagers aren't wanted to have sex is because they don't always understand the consequences, but obviously, she does.

Do what you want.

Right on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no wrong age to have sex. You just need to make sure you know that's what you want and you know what you're getting into.

Why are you having sex with him if you don't even think he loves you? Wait until you're entirely sure and have no doubts.

Yess! but who am i to judge?? age wise, you guys are too young...but now a days kidds start doing it at the age 11...no one is to judge when you should do it, or when you are ready. cause it is really up to you to decide when your ready.

I doubt that the comdom will break. so don't scare her.
They are in love so go and ruin someone elses life.

although I don't believe him because he's 15 and yes I'll admit it we don't know what true love is...but is this wrong?

as of my opinion on this, nobody can tell you whats right or whats wrong in life. Just be prepared and ready for the repercussions that may occur.

Let's see what you think when a baby pops out and your parents throw you out and you have no money and no man and not enough years to get a job. :] Of course it's okay!

I don't think it's WRONG to have sex that young, but I don't think it's a smart idea. You need to mature first, because you're probably going to regret it when you're 18 and you actually are in love. Next time you go to have sex, picture yourself 5 years from then with a baby, no job and no place to live; if you're fine with that then by all means go ahead. You always have to expect the worst, because you never know what could happen. Condoms DO break; it's latex, not steal. Virginity isn't something you can take back. Props to you for being safe though.

Acually, condoms break all the time. and lots of people get pregnant that way. I'm 14 to and I also think that if your just doing it because you feel like you have to, or because you think if you don't he'll think less of you, then I wouldn't do it. I wouln't do it antway though, I mean , not at my age anyway.

^umm... i think condoms don't break 'all the time', that should only happen if you're using them incorrectly in the majority of cases.

personally... i think it's wrong for a 14 year old to have sex, since the majority of 14 year olds would not be financially and emotionally able to take care of the consequences, incl. a possible pregnancy, by themselves.

no, it isn't wrong. i just hope you're ready to face the consequences of having sex, even if you DO use a condom.

if you`re thinking about the
consequences, and are ready
to deal with them if they come
up later, then maybe it is
okay. just think about the future.

okay condoms don't break "all the time" but they can break and lots of people get pregnant that way. I personaly know 3 people who got pregnant by broken or "defective" condoms. And by defective I mean like a hole in them or somthing. And all of you who are reading this saying "she's stupid, condoms can't have holes in them." yes, they can. but whatever, if you think your ready then whatever, just make sure you use a condom.

I think its stupid, but who am I to tell you that.. I lost my virginity at the age of 14, also.. but I stopped having sex ever since me and that guy broke up [which was two months later].. Looking back now, I deeply regret it. I believe that my husband should get it TIGHT and NICE.. but hey, it's your life do whatever you want, just be careful! Boys around that age isn't responsible yet. thumbsup.gif
