This group is a group run by the community of CreateBlog. I yet to know what the talk of it will be, who the members will be, or even the name of the whole group. This group is meant to bring all of us together. To have the community make the slogan, the name, the banners, the topics, the rules, the community, the group... Okay who do you guys think should be the candidate for the governmet of "group X"?

Well I don't want there to just be like a president and a vice president I want it to be like a government like 7 people of equal power being able to take control of the group.

Its not dividing! Not everyone gets along on here cause they dont share common interest. If we had a post that turned into a thread, everyone on the "thread" would share something, and we would be more united than segregated

But even then as a member of that group.I think this is getting crazy out of hand with all these "unity" groups.

But my question to you ItsSelvy, Is unlike the other groups that are a part of the community [Ie.The unholy trinity,The offcial food club,And the many offical race related clubs.]What does this club in particular do in order to contribute to cB.More importantly is what reason should this club even stay in the lounge?

Well a long long time ago, I think it was like a year or two ago, that I acctually was a member here. I quit when I started getting thrashed and what not, so now that I'm back with a new username, I was kindof hoping that I could make a difference in the community, so that what happened to me with my opinions, didn't happen to anyone else. So I figure if I want everyone to come together, why not make a group that makes a group within itself, and become even closer than ever before. Why not? Why not is my only question to the community. If you really want to achieve something or be happy at whatever your here for you will have to make friends to get there. And what better way than a unity group. The otehr groups noprmally disclude people like if you dont liek food leave, if you dont like vampires leave, race clubs, and etc. I just thought it would be cool to put creativity with a form of fun responsibility onto the users. IDK... im not even sure if what i just typed will make sense to you. I just want/ feel the need to make a difference in the community here on createblog

I am going to ask you to be patient with me as I go through this.

While all clubs should be given consideration, my major concern is that which I have bolded.

Typically, we don't see/keep clubs unless there's a clear point to them. You've even admitted that you don't have one yet, other than that of socializing and something about a democracy.

I'm all for democracy, I swear to you that I am, but until you come up with a clear idea of what you want for this club, it'll be watched and eventually closed or moved to the Sandbox.

Again, I apologize and will give you some time to post a CLEAR point to this (and edit your first post with the point or a club statement or something of a purpose).

I totaly understand where you are comming from.But in order for it to stay here in the lounge like Rebecca said,there must be a purpose for the club.

My club specificly the Offcial Hispanic club does not exclude anyone intrested in joining.All are welcome both Non hispanic and Hispanic along with Non spanish speakers such as myself and Spanish speakers.
Im just pointing that out that when i started the club i wanted anyone to join.

I guess this would mainly be about how we want cB to be a great place, what changes we'd like to see, opinions on what the other posts have been about, and pretty much talking about cB itself. Is that a good sum it up purpose?

Is it just me, or does the graphic not really fit that much. I think a simple banner with just Group X would have worked better.

Was there a specific reason as to why everyone hated it?

I always had mixed theories about that question. Honestly, I have no clue I was only trying to do good. I was kinda hoping i could make it up to the community by making this one. Where they made the policies they thought could change

Reading through your original club thread I see that you had tried really hard to speak out and try to see some changes done on cB.

I see the good in what you tried to do.But sometimes the community will not agree with what might sound like a good idea maybe beacause it would take too much work,Or with the abuse thread that you had mentioned in your original club it jsut wouldent work out on here.From what I have heard there have been many atempts to make a "hate thread" but with a forum like this,it be a blood bath.

Sometimes you jsut have to give up an idea and think of a new one.

PS]The Unholy trinity has similar ideas and goals that your club had.

I just think the idea is so useful and helpful...

I think we all want cB to become an even better place, but as Josh stated before, there's also the Unholy Trinity, which I see you've already joined.I'm sorry, 'hon, but you'll never find one common interest that everyone shares. It's impossible irl, and it's definitely impossible here.

I can tell you have the best intentions, but without a clear, dileneated purpose, topic, or goal, this can't work. I know that you came up with "talking about cB in general", but what about cB? How to make it better goes to Feedback and...yeah, I can't think of anything else.
