i am a bit confused on this subject, i need some opinions on JESUS, god has had enough attenmtion, jesus is the one i need answers on.

she was a virgin when she gave birth 2 jesus...an angel appeared 2 her way b4 she got pregnant and told her she was the choosen one to give birth 2 jesus....so her and joseph knew wat was going 2 happen...the reason why jesus was born poor and not like a king was bcuz he shows how humble he is that he doesnt need no introduction or be treated like a big king....plus i dont kno if u kno but the kings back then wanted 2 kill jesus way b4 he was born they didnt want him 2 born...thats why they fleed and he was born where he was born...read ur bible.1

i kno the bible from the front to back, and probably better than u. i just happen to not want to believe everything that is force fed to me.

One of the main reasons God wanted Jesus to be born in human form was that he is dying for our sins. Also, God wanted someone to be in human form so Jesus can fully understand the needs and the suffering of human kind. Jesus is perfect and so humble like gerundio said that God sacrafice his one and only son. The only way for our sins to be saved was through the blood of an innocent and PURE life, Jesus Christ. I believe no one would juss gladly give up their life for everyone in the world. If he knew he was not God, but a man, like you said he was, than he would have step down and just said it was just one big fat joke. I don't think anyone would go through the torture he had to endure just to become a Legend or story.

As for force feeding you, I'm sorry you feel that way but "force feeding" is not what Christians are doing. We are simply living the life for Jesus Christ and trying to share his gospel and truth to everyone else.

exactly thats what i am trying to say. u accept everything that comes with christianity, thus u dont see it as something that is forced, upon u or upon anyone else. but i see it differently. its just different points of view, thats all that i am tryin to say.

i just dont agree with some of the things in the bible such as the view on homosexuality, nor do i believe a lot of the bible to be God's word. somethings about Jesus are also a bit sketchy. im not 100% sure he walked on water for instance. nor do i think that Mary was a virgin. i dont believe that Jesus knew his whole life that he was God. and i dont think that Jesus knew exactly how and when he was goin to die. things like that.

I agree but if you think about it this way most people who don't believe in god don't believe in jesus, so yea but um.. some people might believe in jesus but don't believe that he's gods son because they might believe that he was a real person but not god's son and that he had a different effect on the people

so if u dont believe jesus is gods son...so how do u explain all those miracles he did....how he curred the deaf and the blind and even the pple with the bad skin( i4got how 2 spell it) im sure they dont have the medicine we have now a days...

God and Jesus are the same person...Jesus is merely God in the flesh, he couldn't come down as himself because he is too bright to see so therefore he sent Jesus which is in fact himself.

Haha. Nice answer. But God didn't 'do' Mary. He just simply planted a seed within her with no sexual connection. She didn't even know until an angel came to her in a dream.

Think of the Trinity more of a set of offices. God is the Father. He is the one who created the world. And such. Jesus is the one we pray to and the one who died for our sins, and such. The Holy Spirit is the one who was put in place after Jesus died on the cross to watch over us. Basically like a guardian angel.

What?! Haha. Why do you say God is too bright? What makes Him bright? I don't understand. Where in the Bible does it say that God is bright?

My old pastor explained it to me a long time ago, he's been studying the Bible for 40+ years and that's what he said. Jesus is the son of God but in reality Jesus is in fact God, they are no different, read chapter John, Jesus was merely God in the flesh who died on the cross for our sins...God couldn't come down himself because he would be too bright for us to see...my pastor said imagine God like the sun? The sun is too bright to really look at, that is God. I can't remember how the rest went but that's exactly what he said...

Just putting out a personal atheist pov, I happen to think that Jesus is just another prophet who said he was son of whoever to make people listen. Born from a virgin? Yeah okay.

Everything in this world cannot be explained by science.

That's what the Jehovahs believe in. They believe Jesus was merely a prophet and didn't die on the cross, they do believe in an angel or something called Michael. Yes, born from a Virgin, if God is all powerful he'd have the power to do that, it's kinda like magic
