Lent may only apply to Christians, but if you are one and are celebrating Lent, what are you giving up starting tomorrow? Or, if you're not a Christian or don't celebrate Lent, what's one thing you would give up? Or the other way around, what's one thing you don't think you'd ever be able to?

Starting tommorow, I'm giving chocolate and fast food. I have up chocolate last year for Lent, too, and ooooh-wee, the first couple weeks were terrible.

I think giving up cussing is a pretty good idea, or at least lessen down on it. It will aim your chances of being a better person, and not affect your health or whatever.

are you trying to guilt trip me

Lent? Do real Christians even still celebrate that? Haha. I don't. The only people I know who celebrate that is Catholics. But, that's just me. I'm not giving up anything. If I want to give up something for God, I'm not going to give it up for forty days.

Maybe getting away from cB for a while would be good too. That really goes to anyone who sits infront of their computer each day after school and posts a million posts here. Joshhhh.... Hollyyyyy....

^Indeed there isn't. But getting some fresh air would be nice. I swear...I don't know why some people don't live at their computers already, cause it seems the only thing they do. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love computers. I love playing games and chattin', but 2000 posts in that short of a time. I just sat up for over an hour and only got less than fifty posts. I can only imagine how much of your lives you waste doing this. Hahahha.

i'm not catholic but sometimes i'll participate to see how strong i am.

i tried to give up cursing last year, but i couldn't do it. it's hard, because if i had given up something like chocolate, i could say no. but cursing just slips out of me. it's such a habit :|.

i should give up sweets, but too late, haha. or maybe drinking...yeahhhhhh not with st. patty's soon.

Too worth it.

Well.. I was born into a Christian family.. And my parents think I'm Christian. But truly, I am atheist. But at my school, they made us give something up for Lent. But we couldnt choose anything. We had to choose something to give up that would help us epnd more time with our family.
I said less time on the computer, and I havent done anything to follow up on it.

LENT? Was like last week?
Oops. No wonder why all the people at my lunch table ate differently, and acted so weird around me. (Christian school). xD

Ahh thats funny now.
