OH YEAH I've read it. And so have all of my friends. In fact, they're the ones that got me into it. I refused to read it at first (upon seeing how obsessed my friends were), but I received both Twilight and New Moon as birthday gifts, so I felt obliged. Anyways, my friend got my books signed by Stephenie Meyer! That was pretty tight.

Ohh! My friend told me about this book. The romantic one with a vampire in it. I'm not interested in that type of thing though.

Yeah I can't wait for Eclipse to come out. It's supposed to be this year, right?

Anyways, they might be making Twilight into a movie, but it won't happen for a long time.

Ahh, summary:
As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob -- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

Victoria's baaaacckkkk.

I'm so freaking psyched for this book. I preordered two. One from Barnes&Noble and one from Waldenbooks. Hahaha.

I wonder what Edward and the rest of the vampires will look like in the movie, since I've yet to be "stunned" by any sort of celebrity.

^ to answer your question, Stephenie Meyer talks about casting on her site.

http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/twilight_movie.html

Of course her choices aren't necessarily going to be used for the movie. I'm sure the crew will ultimately decide.

I've seen that...

Jackson Rathbone would make a really cute Edward (or at least from what I can tell on the picture, which isn't much), but I don't know if that's the vibe she's looking for.

Eh...Jackson Rathbone looks way too young/childish/boyish to be Edward. I personally agree with Meyer's choice. Henry Cavill would make a wonderful Edward.

^I wouldn't know, I've never seen Henry Cavill in action.

I don't think her pick for Carlisle could pass for 33 or late twenties..

Love this book! Just got New Moon a few days ago from a friend. The relationship between Bella and Edward was better in the first book. ermm.gif Now, I just feel like punching them all in the face. rolleyes.gif Still loving it, though.

I think we should make a 'WE LOVE EDWARD CULLEN' group since he is the most charming vampire I have ever encountered.

I went out and bought it at Wal*Mart yesterday. Started reading it at 8pm and finished it at 4am. And all I have to say is:
EDWARD CULLEN. <333

Who I'm seeing when I picture the characters.

Gaspard Ulliel as Edward Cullen:

(Seriously, PERFECT. I saw Henry Cavill in Tristan + Isolde and he could probably cut it as Edward but Gaspard is the epitome of Edward.)

Camilla Belle as Bella Swan:

Steven Strait as Jacob Black:

(I definitely agree with the author on this one.)

Laura Ramsey as Rosalie Cullen:

Nora Zehetner as Alice Cullen:

(I'd rather have her than Rachael Leigh Cook.)

Trent Fordas Jasper Hale:

Taylor Kitsch as Emmett Cullen:

Cillian Murphy as Carlisle Cullen:

(I think he's better suited as Carlisle than James.)

Lena Headey as Esme Cullen:

That's all I have so far.

ETA: I change my mind with Jasper. Trent Ford isn't Jasper, CHACE CRAWFORD IS:

Ugh. As exciting as that probably is, I really hope they don't, because I'm sure the casting will be HORRIBLE and they'll completely RUIN the book for me, just like almost every single other movie made from amazing books.

Aaaand...

For any of you losers who read Twilight fanfiction, go to:

http://awards.volturi.org - or - http://awards.volturi.org/index2.htm

It's an awards site for fanfiction. Yes, I'm an obsessed fangirl, what can I say?
