K so i really like this girl at my school and it is hard for me to tell her I like her. So I'd rather show her how much I care for her. Seems like these days we(guys) lost that romantic part of us. I don't know why but I guess I was just born like that. So this is my idea I know it is REALLY KORNY and well if u gals laugh at me I will understand. I talk to her alot and stuff and know where her locker is cause I walk her to it most of the times and I know her locker combo biggrin.gif. So I was thinking that since her last name is rose that during my spare I would go into her locker and leave a big red rose for her with some type of note asking her to be my valentine and if she would go to the dance with me.(trying to think of one but ya I suck at this stuff). I'm just thinking if I should do it or not cause it's really korny but I like her. So go ahead laugh if u wanna lol. PEACE thumbsup.gif

If it was my locker, I'd be like, "HOLYF_INGSH_T! WHO BROKE INTO MY LOCKER?"

But that's just me.
Why don't you give her the rose and ask her in person?

I think you'll be able to get more answers here:

Moved to Relationships.

What do you know, I know someone named Rose too. happy.gif But anyway, I think flowers are always nice. It would be cute if you wrote her a little phrase like: "As beautiful as a rose, only it can't compare." You could leave rose petals and when you talk to her in person, give her a real rose and ask her!

Aww! That's so cute! I think it would be better if you wrote in the note, "Will you be mine?" XD.gif I'd be dead happy if my crush did that to me. Sadly, I need to stop dreaming. sad.gif That's really cute though. _smile.gif

I've seen so many roses given out around my school,
I think whoever still uses it lacks creativity since it's
oh so common.. I cruelly roll my eyes seeing them.. pinch.gif

But ignoring my personal thoughts towards roses..
I have to say it's still impressive you would go to such
lengths to surprise her for valentines day! thumbsup.gif

I think that would work, I mean I think she will feel extremely special if you did something like that.

I have to think of something new... >.> It's just the way I am... I'm really anal about coming up with extremely original / heart warming gifts...

I think I would have to give you two thumbs up and a wink.... thumbsup.gif wink.gif

You'll definitely get your chance with this one. :D

Go for it! But try expanding on the idea. Maybe give her more than one rose and have her receive them throughout the day with little clues leading up the message for the last one.

Despite the fact that giving roses isn't original.
It is a terribly cute idea.
Most guys don't put any effort into being romantic
anymore so its to nice that you have. :D

I like the petals idea and then giving her the real rose in person. Like, a lot! It's really cute. I think it's more meaningful if you asked her in person too. Just my two cents.

Maybe a scavenger hunt? i know it seems pretty lame but leave a note in her locker telling her to go to wherever, and there you'll place another note and so on until she gets a note that leads her to you, and ask her in person there. Eh it might be a lot of work though, so don't totally count on it.

I will give you an 8 out of 10...

You're definitely going to win her over with your sweetness (which is the point), but your idea isn't very original.

ohohoh, I gotz it! Give her 13 roses, but leave a note that says there's 14 roses, and count them if you want (challenge her to count them), when she says there's 13, say, you are the 14th...that worked for one guy I know...lol

try a different flower.....and if you get her a big rose.. itll die quicker. it has to be shut so it can last longer. try lillies or even 1 big daisy.

The rose is cute, breaking into her locker not so cute. _smile.gif Can someone you know, who knows her (of course) lay a rose out on her desk before she gets to class?

I think it sounds cute! Could be potentially embarrassing though, if either of you are shy. Other people would probably notice and be all like "awwww, who's that from!?".

It would be neat if you wrote "A rose for a rose". Or spelled her name in roses on something. _smile.gif

Yay for romantic guys!

That reminds me of what one of my friend's boyfriend did for her, after their "first fight" and she was sick he had her roommate put roses in spots that she would see so there was one on her night stand and then one in the bathroom and then one in her car... and when she got to work there was a vase on her desk with one rose in it with a note. When i heard about it I was like "awwwwww" lol

Yeah, I think you should spice things up because I think giving flowers is a little cliche. I also think that, depending on how close you guys are, it might be a little creepy for you to put them in her locker.
