So, today is me and my girlfriend's 17 months anniversary!
The past anniversaries I was always at college so I couldn't really do anything for her; however, since I am home for winter break and it's our anniversary, I have this whole idea planned out and wanted get some of your inputs!

So, basically, my attic is spacious and I was thinking of setting up sort of a romantic dinner there. I am going to get a table and put it in the middle, and put candles on the floors to surround it, and lead to it from the top of the stairways. I'm also going to have classical music playing in the background. In addition, since I'm not much of a cook, I'm going to order steaks from Charlie Browns, but I'm going to make salad and dessert by myself. My friend also hooked me up with a bottle of wine so I'm going to get a bucket, filled with ice, and enjoy ourselves.

That is pretty much it so far! What'd you guys think? Did you guys think I'm missing anything?
Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Believe me, I would never judge someone completely if I didn't know them by their online attitude and their IRL attitude. Always treat others the way you would like to be treated.

I don't know if I would want to get to know someone who's shallow... I just think it's a bit rediculous how you can defend someone with a warning level and recently spent some time off the site for probably getting in trouble for making fun of people on this website...

I really could care less... I wish he could be as sweet on CB as he is to his girlfriend.

Haha. Seventeenth anniversary, eh? I just asked this girl out two hours ago. I want to celebrate our two hour anniversary so I got a reservation at the Kojo Steak House to commemorate this momentous occasion.

I think in a couple days I plan on asking her to marry me.

What do I buy for the two hour anniversary?...China....or Diamonds?

I will have to say that it was very much called for. If your idea of romance is to play bad music while serving steaks from Snoopy and friends, then I've got some useful advice. Instead of playing classical music, play Another One Bites the Dust by Queen because if your plan unravels the way you seem to want it to, the night will end with certain disappointment. Oh, and don't bother to buy condoms. They'll just go to waste when they could be used by anxious hormone raged teenagers watching eachother awkwardly in the backseat of his mother's oldsmobile. How about just going to the movies or renting one and spending a nice evening together. Forceful actions repel the unsuspecting. I know it's been a while since you've seen her, but it comes on a little strong. If all you want is sex, by all means go for the gusto. Mix the drinks, hold her hair back as she pukes, and watch as your plans take fruit. Then post a nice comment for all to see for I'm sure that's the only reason you posted this one. But if she really means something to you, try some damn subtlety.

2) Make a trail of petals from the entrance to the attic. Make sure she follows the trail. You stay at the attic. Stand behind the door until she walks into the attic to surprise her ... then bust some roses.
