Exercise and get more muscles from it. Muscle weights more than fat.

Try not to exercise TOO much though. It can hurt your body severely. Running a mile every three days helps me out ...But then again, I'm up for LOSING weight, not gaining. Check in with your doctor. He/she will always be able to help, and TRUST them, they're right most of the time. Don't eat junk food, either. It's fatty!

Oh. thanks. mellow.gif i didn't know there was such thing as a fast metabolism. actually, i didn't even know what that was. okay, i'll eat healthy. XD it's just that my ribs show when i change in p.e. class and i find that embarassing somehow. ;x thanks. :D

hm...maybe you can wear an undershirt so it won't show so much...i used to be like that. i still sort of am but not quite as much. i'm about 5'5'' and 90 lbs. you can also start to excersize and work out to build muscle. then you'll look less...uh...scrawny. lol this comes from experience. but hey you won't be skinny all your life, so enjoy it while you are biggrin.gif

Eat meat. It has a lot of proteins and you can gain weight from that. Drink milk too. Just eat a lot of high protein food

Alright, boy in the girls locker room, everyone scream..whatever, but anyways, I've had the same problem..I'm 16 and a boy..I weighed 125 and you could have seen my ribs when I was changing too, now I weigh 131..what I did was I went to walmart, bought a big jug of protein drink mix, bought a lot of bananas, peanuts, and peanut butter. Go home, put the protein powder, milk, a banana, spoon of peanut butter ( or ice cream ) and honey or anything else that you'd like. Make a schedule like 1 protein drink in the morning, 1 protein drink at night. First week you may not notice any change but the second week, you'll see change.

The more cups you drink a day, the more pounds you'll gain at the end of the week..that's what the jug said and I've been gaining weight lol.

just a wild guess but maybe you have higher metabolism than most people. i know super skinny people who eat like crazy. sometimes that's just naturally how your body is.

Don't worry, I weighed like 80 pounds when I was 12. I was so skinny. Gross. Now I'm 95 and I'm 16.

Don't worry, you are still very young.

Your body is going to be going through alot of changes in the next few years,
so I really wouldn't worry about your weight. Especially if you are under weight, lol.
In the meantime, don't try eating a lot of junkfood and stuff.
It's doing nothing but putting poisons in your body.
Concentrate on just eating well balanced meals.
