okay i thought about this, its weird how most of the asian population are small and yet they contain the most tallest people, every tallest person i hear is always asian??? isnt that weird

That's too big of a generalization. I know a lot of Asians who are short, and some who are tall.
Also, country size doesn't affect one's height. Being short would only save vertical space anyway. |

Maybe it's affected by altitude. The higher you get, the less pressure there is.
And it would explain why people from northern China are taller.. |

I know plenty of tall Asians. My uncle is like 6'3".  Some of my Asian friends are taller than me and I'm almost 5'5". |

Anyways, surveys note that asians are tending to be a bit shorter than everyone else. The "Few" people that you know are tall are virtually meaningless.
