I know Saves the Day, Senses Fail, Flee the Scene, I Am the Avalanche, and The Hush Sound.

Saves the Day is old. I'd be pretty suprised if someone in the club didn't know of them.

ohmy.gif I just realized that most of those bands have been on the Purevolume PurePromos/PurePicks. Is that where you get them from?

And yeah, the name change throws me off. Since every single thing discussed in here is considered rock or in a subcategory of rock, why not just make it The Official Rock Club or something like that? That covers everything really. Thoughts anyone?

Agreed. I think it should be The Official Rock Club too. Keeping it as The Official Alternative Music Club will cause some more arguments in here.

Naw i don't get em off the purevolume site, most of the bands ive either (A) seen live (B) get messages on myspace from asking me to check them out or © read about them in Alternative Press.

Oh, that's cool.


There's this really awesome band that I nominated (in AP) as the best local band.. They're called Code: Adrenaline. They're a poppunk band.
I think they're really awesome. You guys should go listen to them. thumbsup.gif
