So this is my 8,000th post. Phew.
Each 1,000th post I do something special. Like actually get off my butt and show my art work, lol. This is my current project.
It's basically Ink Transfers, Ball point pen, Black Sharpie, and White Acrylic Paint.

Took me a good 6 hours to do altogether. Did some work at school, but a lot of it at home.

Anyway here:

Yay! 8,000 posts! biggrin.gif
sorry that stupid yellow date is on there, but i can't fix it....

Used this ribbon that had those dots in it basically.
So I used it as negative space, and painted over it so it transfered dots on the paper when you peeled it away, was fun.

PSHA I'm going to beat you to 9,000 too tongue.gif

I love this artwork, it looks great Katie. I wish I could do things like that, and to get rid of the date stamp, just go in to your cameras settings its pretty easy to make it so it doesn't show if you know how to work your camera for the most part happy.gif

^hey thanks.
I do own a guitar, but it's acoustic. The one up there is electric.
And nah, not off an image or anything,
I didn't know what it was going to be at first,
I just started overlapping pictures, and found halfway through
that it was starting to turn into a guitar, so i just went off with that idea.

lol, yeah and finally fixed the date on my camrea lol

very cool... depending on which part of it you look at, your peripheral vision starts to play with your mind. or it least it did with me. I kept thinking that the headboard was a hand holding the guitair when i focused on the frets.
