So basically I talked to my boyfriend about the accident..and it didn't exactly go so well. I told him that if he needed to talk I would always be there for him and he said that he has a lot of stuff he has to deal with and that he doesn't think he can handle seeing it affect our relationship. He said he still loves me, but the fact that its hurting me so much is too much for him or something like that. I tried to convince him that it I still love him and that I don't think we should break up.. it didn't work. I mean, all I wanted was for him to be able to talk to me but I guess thats not how he feels..

I'm kind of not sure what I'm supposed to do. Am I just supposed to move on? It seems kind of hard when we've been dating for more than a year..

How am I supposed to just let go?

The accident? You might want to detail that so we can better understand the situation.

Also, I'm really tempted to make a thread called "dumb girls..." _dry.gif

He got in a boating accident over the summer. went to rehab. got back, got really depressed and I tried to talk to him about it. it kinda went bad...

I would suggest that you let him have some time to think and refresh himself. Some people come back.

give him some time to let the accident sink in first... then start to talk to him again about the whole thing
