Yes, ANTM fans, it's that time of the year. The new season premieres next Wednesday (20 September) on the CW. Check your local listings, since you know, everything got effed up when UPN and the WB merged.

I'm looking through the girls on the new CW website for it (which sucks, I hope they it becomes like the UPN site, which is much cooler), and thus far, I'm rooting for AJ (who looks like Yoanna with an edge, and I looooovvveeeee Yoanna), Megan (who reminds me of Kim and Mollie Sue), Eugena and Monique. It's funny, they have a lot of "model-y" types this season (see Michelle, Amanda, Melrose and Brooke).

I believe my favorite right now is Megan, and possibly Melrose. Not to sure about her yet. I think she's pretty, but then she has an attitude and everything so that cancels everything out for me. I'm surprised that there are a lot of girls from California!

i loved michelle's picture. i knew she'd do well, cuz she looks a lot like high fashion models nowadays, compared to the other girls.

i hated melrose's walk... it was like SO rocky, uggh. megg's voice is so ANNOYING! x__x

i was surprised that that girl who did the 'backstabbing' picture did so badly, because in the photoshoot she had lots of good poses... i think they just chose a bad one on purpose.

i didnt like monique's picture... it doesn't look like she's throwing the phone. it looks like she's using telekenisis (sp?) or something.

I don't like Monique as a person either. Wtf was up with the bed and showering issues? Her behavior was ridiculous, someone slap her plz.

I like a lot of the girls this season compared to last. AJ, Brooke, Megan, Michelle (well at least she can photograph unlike Amanda).

Meg looks like a mix between last season's Kim and Molly Sue. Pretty, but I didn't like her picture. I loved Caridee's though...haha dumb blonde.

it's kind of always bothered me how the ANTM photoshoots are always shot in this weird resolution. like, everything looks a little plasticy? i wish they did more high fashion shoots, like the black and white crying one from last season.

^ Well, in defense of some of the photos, some of them look like they could've gone straight into an editorial, Michelle's especially. And it's only "high fashion" if the model makes it high fashion; a catalogue model can make a coture dress look like Sears-wear.

Brooke is awesome in terms of personality, but her photo was kind of middle of the road...

caridee... meh... i think she had one of, if not the, easiest themes, and so i would have liked something... MORE...

yea definitely, michelle's was awesome. but her photo was the most... kind of dark and greyish? the others had lots of lighting all over and a bunch of shadows in other places. like in melrose's.

i thought the elephant picture from last season was high fashion too though.

But the tone fit with the content.

Eh, the show has been going down for a while now anyway. But I do love Michelle. It's the only one that would've worked in a fashion magazine nowadays.

I think they totally blew up the Melrose incident. Yes, she was late, and I don't think she should've been by any means, but you could tell she didn't mean to upset people. If anything, Monique should've been the one criticized (then again, Tyra doesn't do anything about bitches until they go REALLY crazy, and judging by how Monique's acting now, it should be soon).

Once I saw what Monique is like, I knew that she was going to make it to the top 13. Every season needs its bitch, and this season it just happens to be her.

And the twins aren't attractive but take amazing pictures. Weird.

But go Brooke! She's just gorgeous, like, I don't swing that way, but seriously. I was like HO-LY SHAZ SHE'S BEAUTIFUL.
