I just got my first bottle of black nail polish and I must say, it will definitely become a staple. There's something about using it that makes me feel a little bit "rebellious," even though it's "classic." Anyone else love/hate it?

I wear black nail polish. I don't see anything reallly rebelious about it. It looks wonderful with electric blue nail polish though

I think I tried on black nail polish at a store and my mom hated it. She mumbled something to do with dark and/or death. I don't normally go for black nail polish, though. It's just not "me".

the only thing is when someone only paints one nail black, then it looks like they slammed thier finger and the nail's about to fall out.

Me too. The only nail polish colors I have are black and pink. Then again, black isn't.. technically a color.

Nah. It's not really my style.

I suppose I wouldn't mind if i wore it.
But I don't paint my nails, I suppose if I did I would choose that or clear..

Black nail polish is cool But since my mom, she works as a nail design kinda person, she won't even let me wear it.

But black technically doesn't exist. Except for in deep space. Black is only when an object or matter is at absolute zero, meaning a lack of energy.
Black anything on Earth is actually dark, dark brown or blue.

If you put on only 1 coat, you'll see that it's actually dark, dark brown.

Eh, I don't like black nail polish. I prefer brighter colors. My mom doesen't want me want me wearing black nail polish either. Then again, like I'm gonna listen to her.

I don't know why, but it looks better on shorter nails than long ones. I wore it once for Halloween when I was 14, but that was pretty much the only time. I don't like it, color is a wonderful thing [:

I like it in certain ways. Like with the opposite french (that's what I've always heard it called) is white. (the semi circle on the bottom of your nail). It can look nice plain too, but it yellows your nails if you leave it on for to long.

i wear black nail polish. but normally i wear a color and then one or two nails with black. weird but i like it. blahaha.
