i'm so mad lately i've had to get pants a size bigger just to fit my hips... then the legs or butt are too wide, and they're usually too long pinch.gif so now i'm size 2-5

Damn, I don't know. I have a 26- or 27-inch waist and a 27- or 28-inch inseam, so whatever that translates to in girls' sizes.

I'm like, a size 0. I find it difficult to find clothes in my size. I'm very petite.

I don't want to make this into one of those "I'm fat, pity me" threads, but I was just out shopping with a friend (we're both 15/16) and she was looking for size 00 jeans. I thought she was kidding, but she wasn't.
Is it weird that I'm a short 15-year-old who wears size 7/8? I'm a little chubby, but I didn't think it was this extreme ermm.gif .
Now I'm really nervous about my weight since I know my friend's size.

Could people please list their ages and sizes (if they're comfortable), just so I know what's "normal"?
Thanks :)

And I know I'm going to get a lot of "don't worry, people come in all shapes and sizes" replies. I agree, I'm just curious to see how I fit into the spectrum...

it doesn't matter what age you are. it depends a lot on your size. if you're like 4'5" and wear 7/8, then there might be a problem. if you're like 5'5" and wear 7/8, there's really nothing wrong. your friend probably wears 00 because she's just really skinny and doesn't have much of a figure to fill out bigger jeans.

i'm 5'2" and about 115 lbs. that's relativly normally. i wear 4/5 jenas usually. i'm petite so if i gain weight, it looks a lot heavier than if someone taller would look like.

relax. 7/8 is around the average of most teenage girls.

Thanks a lot everyone--
Yeah, I knew I'd be a little over the average, but not too far over. I'm 5'3", 128 pounds, so I'm a little on the heavy side...
But yeah, unlike some girls my age I DO have hips and a butt to put in my jeans ;)

I'm 4'11" and I wear a size 3. they're a little loose but zeroes are too tight.

my really tall friend was 5'7 and she wore a 0. blink.gif She was insanely skinny. a lot of people thought she was anorexic, but she wasn't. she loved food.

it just depends on your body type.

and my friend who seems to have bigger hips is a 3.

i dont get the sizing though, arent the even numbers misses and women, and odd for juniors?

IMO, 5 is the normal spectrum 7/8 is pretty fine and average, 0...I do not know, I usually find that my girls that wear a size 5-7/8 are probably thin but with cute figures.

I'm 14 (15 in October), and I'm a size 2 at American Eagle, a 1 at Old Navy and a 0 at Gap, (I did those three stores because those are the stores that I usually get jeans from).

I find it kind of weird..because it sounds like I'm smaller than I actually am, but I think all sizes are normal.

Sizing is getting weird these days.
