It shouldn't. That's the thing...this shouldn't turn into a popularity contest. They're not hiring based on how popular you are. It's how much you can help out the community.

Although, yes, they wouldn't hire a newbie.

I had never talked to Kiera before and she nominated me to be people staff ages ago. I didn't really know a lot of people back then. They just saw my posts. And went from there.

Right. It shouldn't and I hope it doesn't. And I know they arent hiring based on how popular someone is, but it does play a part. You know that. happy.gif It's not really a problem as long as they hire for the right reasons.
