I'll have to say that the Cantonese are a lot softer when they talk. Chinese in general are pretty loud...

i wish i could speak mandarin...-_- my mom never taught me for some reason. i can read Pinyin pretty well, but other than that i just know the basics. like numbers and stuff.

Believe me, Canton people can talk pretty loud... especially among a bunch of relatives.

yeah, i agree. i've been to a bunch of chinese parties and new year celebrations. and when a bunch of chinese friends get together, it's mass chaos. eek.gif

LOL SKYPE IS SO 05..

What i do love though, is how you all want to talk to each other with no expense, while the same thing would be to just call them on a cellphone, what many people dont understand is that theres free nationwide calling..and even on the house phone its cheap as hell. Damn get a phone card then. Problems with skype i've had in the past is pinging sounds. yeah i'm crazy
