Definition

Some people get confused or don't really know the complete definition for "Anime" or "Otaku" is. So here are the definitions to help you out!

Anime: a style of animation originating in Japan. It is sometimes referred to by the portmanteau Japanimation. Anime is characterized by stark, colorful graphics and stylized, colorful images depicting vibrant characters in a variety of different settings and story-lines, aimed at a wide range of audiences. Anime may be broadcast on television, distributed on media such as DVDs or published as console and computer games. Anime is usually influenced by Japanese comics known as manga.


Otaku: a variety of geek (or an overly obsessed fanboy / fangirl) specializing in anime and manga.

But it ended. I cried. -sniffle- Then again, I cry at the end of pretty much all anime. I cried at the end of Aishiteru Ze, Baby and YYH... And Sukisyo! and Gravitation. My friend says I'm just one big crybaby, but I'm not! Well, not usually...

Other anime? Princess+Princess (which also ended T.T), ParaKiss (again, over), Ouran Koukou Host Club (because twincest is )... And I have Samurai 7 on my computer but it looks too epic for one sitting. I might have to break that one down...

And of course, my love for YYH, G Gundam, Yu-Gi-Oh and Here is Greenwood is never-ending. Well, okay. I only watch Yu-Gi-Oh because Ryou is beyond cute. And I like the manga better (this is the only time you'll hear me say that).

Except for English dubs because I haven't been watching those in light of my Japanese homework. To study Japanese. So it's easier to sit and watch lots of anime instead of studying other ways.
