Like I thought they rephrased a lot from the first movie. For instance the Rum line. Though that was only in the beginning of the movie, they still did a pretty good job. Keira is a good actress in my opinion. Orlando Bloom decent, Johnny Depp still pretty amazing.
Very creative with the scenes. But I was kinda disappointed with the plot, and the Kraken was. . . interesting. I didn't expect too much really.
And the sets recycled? Naw not really. And even if they were, they did work out pretty nicely.
I think it's just the editing was a bit off, i guess.

And I wasn't a fan of a certain kiss at the end of the movie. Def upset about that, especially seeing the look on Will's face.

And yah. . . I hope they don't screw up the 3rd film now.

The problem was just that I had such high expectations for this sequel ya know lol.
Since I think POTC is one of the best movies ever.

OMGAAAAHD. I saw the movie last night, and i was literally sitting on the edge of my seat smiling my ass off.

They had BETTER make a POTC 3

I saw it the day it came out, and it was amazing! There's more of an eerie tone to it than the first, and the subplots around it are pretty cool. Could've had a little more action in the beginning half, but the ending makes up for that. Dying for part 3... that cliffhanger is cruel.


And Johnny Depp is the best drunken pirate I've ever seen :].

UGH I loved that movie. And yes, that was a fulfilled 'ugh' of happiness and sheer joy. Amazing. I am so anxious for the next one!

OMG I love love LOVED this movie. Jack Sparrow and his expressions are SO funny. My favorite was when Will and the Commador were fighting in the huge water wheel- and when Will got out he fell over. That was great. Also when Jack fell into the grave. That was priceless.


Such a great movie. I'm going to see it again this week.

oh and a little comment// my friends went to the premeire at Disneyland and they got to meet/ hug Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. They even made a poster and got it sgned. So jealouss!

LOL u call admittedly depp did well in his character but comeon, acting? all u have to do is get a decent comic who likes to pretend a pirate half drunk, make sure he can still remember his lines and shove him in front of the camera. hell the extras and minor actors were more entertaining than bloom and knightly.

I have no idea what you just said. But i pretty much got the gist of it. You are retarded. Johnny Depp is one of the best actors America has ever seen. He is so versatile and GOOD. Acting SEEEMS easy, because you're probably a pompous a-hole that thinks he could do it better or has an opinion on everything. But I think it would be hella hard to even try to get on Johnny Depps level of acting.

It was an ok movie..I slepted through some of it because the scenes were put on way longer then they should've been. 2 hours and 30 minutes..wow.

Depp is genious in this character. He basically created the "Captian Jack Sparrow" role, and did an amazing job. Much like the other roles he has been in, seriously. Go watch any movie with him in it, he is amazing.

notice those scenes where he tried to act serious the movie slowed down DRAMATICALLY. yes depp is a good actor, but in this movie, half his acting was easy due to the eccentricities of his character. anytime he wasnt acting crazy, it was as if depp had forgotten how to act like a professional
