He's not in the wrong for criticizing this topic. He was rather "smart" and helped the cB community in doing so.

helped the cb community? you must be joking?! most of his posts aren't relevant to the whole point of a debate or a topic and leads up to an argument .. and as that goes on, his posts contributes nothing but annoyance .. someone help this dude out

... how long have you been in debate to make such an assumption? Me? Out of my 6,000 plus posts, the majority of them are housed in this subforum. I have debated with Mr. Acid since the inception of the Debate Forum, and I have respect for him as a debator even though I disagree with him on most of these topics. How can you say that he has not contributed when you have barely glanced at the skin of this corner of cB yourself?

And if he is so unfitting for cB, why is it that he won cB superlatives in the past for positive catergories?

Why did that Statistik kid make a link to that forum? I thought he pretty much got his ass kicked in there.

You've proven my point that this topic surely is not a debate then. Again, if you all are willing students, others and I will be happy to share basic knowledge of Microeconomics as well as Macroeconomics with you all in another subforum (hint: school). Else, it should be closed.

It's rather rule-bending to say that we should not reply if we do not like this topic since the rules of the debate forum is pretty specific against topics like these.

Sorry, the misnomered titled irked me a little.

P.S. Justin's in high school; Minda was in high school; Sammi's in high school. They all have a pretty firm grasp of the political and economical climate if you ask me. Seriously, the point isn't what level of education you've received, the point is research. I'm sure that had you wanted to make a topic in this forum, Spiritual Winged Aura, you would have researched it a bit, like the rest of us, before posting.
Justin, I would be content if we can keep the sacred grounds of the debate forum "semi-intelligent". thumbsup.gif

thumbsup.gif i'll think about it. it's a pretty good start to study about economy before i take ecomony class (school's requirement).

OMG. Brenden, you're back. biggrin.gif

Anyway ... I don't think this "debate" is going anywhere. And .. Toby has a point. I don't think anyone can have any solid opinions that can be backed up on this topic. Remember to research what you want to argue more before creating a topic about it.
