6.5/10

Blend is okay. I see no blend lines, and it's your typical 3person blend, but in your case, this one is actually pretty good. Good job blending it will. But for some reason, the position of your images bother me. They don't seem in tandem, and it seems almost off-balanced. I think the problem is that you have the two pictures on the right where her arms are on her hip, and one without that on the left. What you could do is put the image on the right in the middle instead. Or on the left. I dunno, you can leave it as it is also.

It's really really dark. With a blend like this, you could have lightened it, because of the facial expressions and her outfit, it should be FUN. Try setting a new layer, and setting it to "overlay" or "color dodge" or something. That should help. You don't NEED to have brushes or textures, but add something fun to it. Even though it's supposed to be "simple", there's nothing wrong with adding some subtle effects to play up to the quality of the photos.

The font is tacky. And this was not in a mean way. The font in general is tacky. Whoever made it should be slapped. And if made it about 5x tackier when you added the extra border around the text. Try using Carpenter ITC instead. It flows alot better, and it's not as bulky. Don't add the border (or stroking) though. Also, instead of a brown border for the image, try using white. The brown is so dominant in this blend, it gets overlooked.

Oh! One more thing. Try sharpening the blend when you are done. Sharpening always makes pictures stand out more, and it won't look so "background" when you finish.

Overall, it's okay. It's good as a base, but there are always ways of improvement. I think if you added the lighting effects to it, it will be really nice =)

^^Okay Thanks.I`ll try that next time.
When I set the blend mode to Overlay..why does it turn transparent? and the picture go away?

What I personally like to do is when I make the blend, BEFORE I add any effects to it at all, I merge all the layers (just the image layers, before you add any text). Then, I make a duplicate layer of the merged images, and set the duplicate layer on top, and set it to "overlay" or "soft light" or "color dodge". Usually though, if it's set to "color dodge" I always suggest you lower to oppacity to 25-50%. If you use the other settings, you just have to mess around with the opacity until it looks right to you. Then "sharpen". =)

Thank you. Actually, I think you should use "color dodge" if you try the lightening affect again. The font choice is ALOT better.

Agreed with the others. It needs more colors. Maybe add a brush or two? But nice blending job. thumbsup.gif

I personally like it a whole lot, I think you are great at blending! You never have a problem with that. biggrin.gif Out of 10 I give it a 8 1/2. The pictures are high quality, and I love the fonts you chose on the V.2 and V.3. The only thing wrong with it is that it is plain. Add a smooth texture to it. Also, use some effects with the text. But don't overdo it. Just my C&C.
