Call me blonde, but whenever I see the trailer for this movie, it confuses me. I still don't fully understand what it's about. Sure these 2 people live 2 years apart, but how exactly does that work?

I'm confused. huh.gif

the "lake house" brings these two people together its about bringing people together and in this lake house they end up being exactly two years apart.

A lonely doctor who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging love letters with its newest resident, a frustrated architect When they discover that they're actually living two years apart, they must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it's too late.

&shrugs; i like Keanu Reeves.

it was okay. i almost teared at this one scene. i read comments from yahoo users saying it was like the notebook but different story plot... it was nothing like the notebook, i didn't even get the same feeling when i watched the notebook. (wasn't a big fan of the notebook)

i normally don't find keanu reeves to be attractive but he was cute in this movie. i like his height and the way he dressed.. i just think i like every guy in chick flicks.

They live two years apart. One of them is living in 2004 and the other is living in 2006, for example, simultaneously.

That plot is ridiculous. What the hell...that doesn't even make any sense. How does someone come up with that? How did that get into theaters?

I'm so confused. This sounds like the stupidest movie ever.

As people have said, it's a remake of the Korean movie 'Il mare (Siwore).' I'll be typical and say... I liked the original better :P

I saw it today. It was very sweet, such a chick flick. Of course, it's a movie, so it's not realistic whatsoever, but it's still very sweet.

Yea, to respond to some earlier posts.. the lake house is a remake of this korean movie.. I think it was called "il mare" (which was like one of the crappiest movie I was ever conned into watching).

My friend saw it a couple of days ago and recommended that I don't go and see it. She said it was really bad...so, I dunno whether I wanna go see it or not.
