The iPod, of course!
QUOTE "Whenever someone says college students, the first thing that comes to mind is drinking beer, right? Wrong, says new research by Student Monitor, which claims than in 2006 73% of students it surveyed said iPods were in, while beer drinking and Facebook.com fought for the second place with 71% of popular votes." Source Facebook is also ranked pretty high on the list. |

Morning talk shows are okay when you're in a car, but I'd be surprised if a significant number of people actually listen to them on a portable radio sort of thing--especially not when you have your entire collection of music with you.

Sometimes when I listen to the same thing everyday, it gets tiring, so in that case I just put on the FM Tuner to see if there's anything new I should download for the day, and while I commute in the morning, I listen to Morning Talk Shows.

Meh. I use my music player in different ways. I've been pretty happy with my iPod over the last three years or so. I don't want a device that does a million things. I want it to do one thing--play music--and do it well.
Anyway, my morning commute consists of me driving, so I can't very well listen to a music player with headphones, anyway. Hence, the radio in my car. |

When I am driving to work I end up listenin to Z100 in the morning because they arent as bad as everyone else. The other places play more commericals in the morning then aything. I hate NJ radio stations.

I don't have an mp3 player so I use it for my cd player. |

My point is that I have no desire to listen to the radio when I have my iPod, because I have all the music I want to listen to. |

But the radio lets you in on new music! That's why I like it, it's one of my sources for new songs or artists. No no, the radio regurgitates shitty music. And to whoever said they get tired of listening to the same thing everyday; honestly, the radio repeats music much more often than my ipod does. I have 12gbs of music, so shuffling is always good, plus I can listen to albums or make playlists all I want. The flexibility of the ipod is perfectly fine for me; my radio feature would go untouched. |

Well if that's true wouldn't radio stations go out of business?[assuming it works the same way that television programs do, but iono how it really works out]. Maybe you just have shitty radio stations. I agree to an extent, they play some shitty music, and they really do miss out on a lot of other great stuff which mondo sucks. Plus I hate the censorchip. |

Meh. I don't have an iPod. I'd be obsessed with it if I had one. They're the rage these days but I don't see what is so special about it. There are other MP3 Players that are far better than the iPod.
