If i go rock climbing and im pretty heavey will the person holding the rope feel my weight?

If i do go rock climbing will i have to wear those things around my legs that looks like a diaper?

Is rock climbing hard, like does the rope help you get up?

no, the person will not feel your weight (very much, if at all) because of the leverage they have. And stuff like that.

Yes you have to wear a diaper thing :P but everyone's wearing it so it's not a big deal (just don't wear a skirt).

Rock climbing can be easy or hard, just choose an easy wall if you don't want a challange, and no the rope does not help you get up, but don worry, tons of people do it that are totally out of shape and don't know what they're doing, it's no big deal.

Rock climbings really really fun, I'm sure you'll have a blast happy.gif

Moved to Sports.

And if you're worrying about the "diaper" things, they're not uncomfortable or anything.

I tried rock climbing once. All I'm saying is...if you're scared of heights...don't do it. ph34r.gif It's harder than it looks.

I scaled 4 walls straight once, one after another...that was two summers ago. I really doubt I can even finish one in the shape I'm in. Well, it'sa lot easier if you are able to support your own weight and have good balance. The support ropes under you aren't THAT bad.
