Well Creatblog has never been a good place to discuss wrestling, but I'll do it anyway.

ECW is returning, however it will be WWE owned. At first it was supposed o be booked by Paul Heyman & Tommy Dreamer, which would have been superb, but backstage WWE's creative think this may fail (even though it worked for 7 years in the past).

Sci Fi also want some sort of sci-fi aspect in the show like vampires, aliens etc., which would be ridiculous.

I hope CM Punk is in this, so he get's an ever bigger chance to prove himself as the next Triple H. I also hope Matt Hardy is in it, as he just so perfectly fits what ECW is about. He's also 100 times the wrestler his brother JEff will be ANY DAY.

I hope WWE let it run in the small, no pyro arenas that is did originally, but I sincerely doubt it. In fact, it may jus be done in place of Velocity.

All-in-all, I just hope to God it is a success.

What are you talking about? Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer are still creative control. Vince might have the final decision, but it's Paul and Tommy that come up with the ideas. I don't know about the Sci-Fi thing. But it's a good idea to put it on that channel, over 50 percent of Raw viewers watch Sci-fI. Even if they aren't fans, most of them will see it atleast once to see what it's like.

How is Matt better suited for ECW then Jeff? Last time I checked, Jeff was swanton bombing people while all Matt did was the TOF? Matt is a good wrestler no doubt, but for singles action in ECW, it wouldn't work out as well as people would hope. It won't be bad, there will probably some good matches, but it probably won't have the High-Risk factor as much as if Jeff was in it. Also, Jeff is in TNA last time I checked, and last timeI checked, TNA had some matches reminicent of the ECW style. Although thats not what ECW is all about.

CM punk isn't going to go to ECW, well not anytime soon atleast. He's still in OVW, after that hes going to come back and be part of either Raw or Smackdown. If you saw wrestlemania, he was one of the Gangsters that came out of the cars with Cena.

Also, it's not replacing Velocity or HEAT. How would it? Those two shows are web only unless you go see it Live, and they're on before the actual RAW and Smackdown broadcast. How would it replace it? Just change it to an ECW style Setting, and then within 10-20 minutes change the whole set back?

I get UK TV, and it is replacing Heat and Velocity here.

WWE just added a current Smackdown writer to the ECW writing team.

Jeff Hardy can't wrestle, all he can do is FALL off ladders. Matt can wrestle, and, if you've ever seen his ROH work, is very anti-establisment. Jeff is a drunken, drugged up moron, who belongs noweher near a wrestling ring.

Also, in planning for ECW, WWE were undecided about making ECW a mixture of OVW and old ECW, and they still could, obviously just calling it ECW.

ECW on Sci Fi beat Smackdown in the ratings this week, even though the ECW show was a complete disaster.

First off, how are Heat and Velocity even on TV? NO matter where you live, those 2 are web shows. You should only be able to watch them on the offical site.

Also, if they old ECW is going to be nothing but just the hardcore wrestling then... just forget it.

Also, most of the matches I saw were pretty stupid. I saw the 2nd week, Tommy Dreamer Vs Bigshow? It was a one-sided match. Sandman vs Macho? What the f**k is that? The only good one was the main event. ECW needs to step it up.

I was at this premiere. Both ECW and Smackdown were pretty crappy, but they had an awesome dark match at the end to please the crowd.
