I haven't been broken up with in any
horrible way. But I've been torn apart
by a break up. One time, I dated this
girl for about half of a year, and we
decided to break up because we just
lost the "spark" for each other. Man,
was that the hardest thing to deal
with. She ended up dating my really
good friend, which tore me up even
more. I was a hermit. I never left
the house. I don't know..maybe I
over-exaggerated. But still, it was
way horrible.

I think the last break up I had was by far the worst. I didn't allow myself to go cold turkey and we ended up hooking up a few times. That just made it so much harder to get over him. And now, I can barely be around him. He has become such a player and a jerk. He isn't the person I fell in love with anymore and it makes me so sad and feel like an idiot.

That's horrible! If I one of my guy

Hrm, my last ex-boyfriend, ugh.

We were together for six and a half months, and for about two of those months this girl wanted to take him away from me. She did so many things to cause unecessary drama. There were rumors flying around, giving me reason to suspect my ex of cheating during the last month that we were together. I asked him about this, asking for the truth. I just wanted the truth, but in the end I found out he lied all along.

One day I was walking with my friend around our neighborhood back in California, when we saw my ex and the girl making out and practically all over each other, in front of my church. Nice, hm? I walked up to him, eyes full of tears, and hateful words pouring out of my mouth. I punched him in the face and slapped her. It was really hard to deal with for me, 'cause he was my longest lasting relationship and I truly loved him. I don't take relationships lightly and it took about four months for us to actually get together.


I hated him so much for it, and what's sad is that after we broke up, I still loved him for a few months afterwards. He's tolerable now though, I still talk to him through myspace a little less than often. But I'll never forgive him. It took me two and a half years for me to finally fall in love again with someone new.

I'm very happy now.

me and him had a fight; both of us walking down the hall [& all class room doors are open]... i had enough of him so i yelled "you know what?! i'm done!" -- he walked in his class room saying 'thank the Lord!'

...how embarassing.... i started crying [like a baby] down 3 flights of stairs b/c of that... at that moment, i just ended a 6 month relationship. [the hardest thing now is to erase all the memories we had together.]

Cheating is awful. It is basically the worst thing to happen in a relationship. Even if you forgive the person and decide to stay together, it is always in the back of your mind. You trust them less and start to doubt their feelings for you. It just is the worst, especially if you are supposed to be in love.

One of my ex's told me it was because we had nothing in common, translation: "You don't play handball." I know that's the translation because when I asked what we didn't have in common he told me that. I was really hurt and now that I think about it, I was so stupid for wasting tears on him. What a lame ass excuse.

My last break up was by far the messiest. It was honestly like some weird soap opera. It involed attempted suicide (he's the loony), a psychiatric ward, a police report and a restraining order. I really don't want to go into detail because it was just ridiculous. I hate how people are controlling and can't just move the hell on

I wrote her a 2 min. not sayin that i don't know her like that and tons of otha niggas will come after her... to make a long story short, she read the note
"He's jokin'... he loves me." and starts stalkin me. she called me "boo" in front of all my girl-friends. she keeps askin for hugs and its gotten 2 the point where i run from her.

well i cant say its ever been horrible cuz i try not to put myself in the position to get hurt so bad that i have to talk about it....but i'd say if there was a bad one it'd be my most recent one....the guy i lost my BIG V to. lol.

basically we had been together for 3 years..n like he just started to ignore me n it irritated me....so i finally just said its over...it shocked him n sadened me...but i rebounded n thats wat makes it bad....anyway gotta go...be back later..xoxox

..ok back....well basically the only thing that kept us together was the sex which was probably the worse part of the entire relationship to me at least.....emotionally i dont regret anything but physically i wish i had never felt that way about him n gave everything i had to him....thinking it would last....

I caught my boyfriend chatting with other girls on MY COMPUTER! I even found the girls' numbers on his phone under a guy's name! AND, I've even talked to these girls! (he's done this 3 times)

I cried the 1st time, got angry the 2nd, then on the third time...I just said: "I just don't care anymore...if you don't believe that no one will care for you as much as I do...then you're really effin' dumb to keep this up."

He hasn't done it ever since. Then when he tells me he loves me...I just say..."yea right!" Then he REALLY REALLY gets pissed and cries about it...and makes me call every single person on his phone...and made me call all those other girls back...and baby me for a year!

It felt good to have that power over him!

I haven't been in an awful break up....this is just my first awful, "close to breaking up" kinda thing.

MY ex i found out a week later had cut her wrists and was sent to the hospital....-- that's is the worst feeling in the world knowing you were parrtly to blame because you broke it off...

me and my boyf had been together 5 months and he was definately my first love. i'd do anything for him and he stopped liking me...
and then there were rumours that he was gona dump me and every time i tried to talk to him he said "oh wtf do you want?" and stuf like that... then i said to him
"i dun think you rly wanna be with me nemore.. so i'll do u a favour and end this..." and he jus smiled and said thanx. walked off strate to my worst enemy and hugged her rite in front of me.
i cried for nearly 2 hrs

Don't blame yourself, it was her own damn fault for being such a freak. At least she didn't twist the truth about your relationship to get pity, practically tell the world she was going to do it, describe to you in detail about the suicide attempt, guilt you into hospital visits or stalk you afterwards.

I'm generally not much one for any sort of "long-term" relationship, so I haven't ever had a break-up per se. I've had things with girls I was dating just kind of fizzle out, though. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but when things don't have a definitive start or a definitive end, they can seem to drag on for an extended period of time. Last year, during the fall semester, I starting hanging out with this really cool girl, and we eventually started dating, sort of. And everything was going well, but then she went to Australia to study abroad, and we didn't see each other for eight months or so. And when she got back…eh, things didn't seem the same. They just kind of fizzled out. Perhaps some hangups, vestiges of old relationships still in my mind, got in the way, and I assumed things were over and just forgot about the whole thing. In retrospect, I wish I had tried harder. She was pretty cool. I've never really met anyone quite like her.
