Did your school make the list for 100 best high schools in the US? All the schools around me are lucky to even be open! |

nope. i see many private schools on that list.
anyways, the HS i'm going to, York isn't that great of a school. but it only has like 500 students compared to the 4000+ students at Cardozo and Francis Lewis. and this belongs in school. edit:; HS #223: HS for Arts and Business: not a good school. regents preformance: English: 78.3% passing Math: 80.4% passing Graduation Rate: 52% [info from the Directory of NYC Pubic High Schools 2005-2006.] Stuyvesant HS is better than that school, so why isn't it on the list? |

just because you have a lot of money doesnt mean you achieve goals academically. btw, i know where you go to school no, when i said blue valley was the best district to go to, i meant it in an educational/academic kind of way. how do you know which high school i go to? theres 5 in blue valley. |

Suprisingly there are a lot of Texas high schools on there. |

QUOTE 526 Cardozo Queens N.Y. 1.671 12.9 the school i gave up to go to York [one of the specialized]. but it has over 4,000 people! QUOTE 798 Townsend Harris Queens N.Y. 1.338 37.0 72.3 ahh! why is Townsend #798?? it's one of the best in NYC! and why was there only one specialized HS? Brooklyn Tech isn't as good as York or Stuy or Bronx. |

I knew good and well my high school wasn't going to be on there. But I do know of H.B. Woodlawn (13), Richard Montgomery (15) and Wootton (51) (not going past 100).

Not even one school from Georgia made the list... oh boy. Well. That's surprising. :rolleye: 49th in in education! We're moving up! Woohoo! Damn. Well here in Georgia.. We're street smart. I bet my school is number 101. Yeeeeeah. Street smart in the suburbs. My school is really diverse. I think Gwinnett has about a 63% dropout rate, actually I think I'd seen this before...we're #615..about 12th in state? I might have miscounted. The schools around me but in Fulton did better. So did Duluth, but they have the largest Asian population in the state, lol |

Nope. None. There are some High Schools in San Diego on the list but i dont live near them.
The High School i been hearing about a lot near where i live is Helix High School cuz of Reggie Bush going there. And for Middle School he went to my middle school. And he had my teacher for Language Arts. |
