Does anyone else watch this show? I know it being on UPN is a turn off... but it's really a great show... pretty much the breakout of this season.




ABOUT THE SHOW

In the wealthy, seaside community of Neptune, the rich and powerful make the rules, they own the town and the high school, and desperately try to keep their dirty little secrets just that…secret. Unfortunately for them, there's Veronica Mars, a smart, fearless 17-year-old apprentice private investigator dedicated to solving the town's toughest mysteries.

Veronica (Kristen Bell) actually used to be one of the popular girls, walking the halls of Neptune High with the rest of the "beautiful people." But it all came crumbling down around her after her best friend Lilly was murdered and her then-Sheriff father Keith Mars (Enrico Colantoni) was removed from office for naming Lilly's billionaire father, Jake Kane, as the lead suspect. After Jake was exonerated, the scandal cost Keith his job, his home and wife, and Veronica was ostracized by her popular friends, including her boyfriend Duncan Kane (Teddy Dunn), Lilly's brother.

During the day, Veronica must negotiate high school like any average teenage girl. Along with fellow outcast, sophomore Wallace Fennel (Percy Daggs III), she bravely maneuvers her classes, wary of former in-crowd friends, like Duncan and his best friend Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring), and edgy outsiders, like Weevil (Francis Capra) and his P.C.H. Bike Club boys.

At night, Veronica helps with her father's struggling, new private investigator business, sneaking through back alleys and scoping out no-tell motels with a telescopic-lens camera and her math book in an attempt to uncover the California beach town's darkest secrets.

Pushed to the edge of this multicultural, venomous little Peyton Place, Veronica Mars relentlessly continues to search for evidence that will clear her father's name and get her back into the "in-crowd," but what she finds may tear the town of Neptune apart at the seams.




It's a smart, witty show and y'all should tune it. NOW is a great time, because they're re-airing the first episode tonight... the second next week, and the third the week after... and then the new episode on February 8th.

It's on UPN on Wednesdays at 9pm. WATCH IT.

I only caught the beginning of the ep. BOOOOOOO.

I'm almost finished DLing it, though. :) But I still have to DL the last 5 eps from last season because I never saw them.

But, Veronica Mars is awesome. I love this show.

I loved the first episode. Unexpected. I felt a little bad for Logan when she broke up with him. But, he's screwing his friend's mom? Sheesh. What is it with that family and illicit relationships and statutory rape?

I'm hooked again. I can't wait for the next episode.

I'm sure Veronica and Logan will get back together sooner or later. Besides, Duncan is soooooo boring. And sorry to Teddy but he can't act. He has like, no facial expressions.

And hmm... what did Logan mean when he told Veronica he was going to miss her before they went on the bus? Did he know what was going to happen? Did he somehow plan it? Hmm.

Season 1 DVDs come out next Tuesday!!! :)

Wow... it's been like, 6 months since a post.

ANYWAYS! How awesome is this show?! It's like, all kinds of awesome! Ahhh! I can't believe there's only 3 episodes left. :(

I think I kind of know who's behind the crash and why... I think. But this is VMars so... who knows anything for sure.

But um, the whole Oscar statue... with Duncan's hair?! That just came out of nowhere. But then again, who remembers Kendall in Duncan's shower? Huh? Huh???

Logan and Veronica forever! Heeeeeee. The Perishers "Sway" pretty much had a major increase in DLs because of Plan B. :)

I freaking love this show.

VMars is one of my favorite shows... I actually waited in line for 3 HOURS to get her autograph. I aint wait until 'Pulse' comes out.

It was pretty good. Dude, idk, Logan's still pretty hot. I love how he's such a smartass.

My mom watches this show alot, and I join hew occasionally. I'm not too familiar with it, but so far I think it's pretty good.

Most definitely. Considering VMars is one of the best shows UPN has ever had.

I KNOW! I knew riite away that she would use the hair from the shower for framing duncan. while duncan sometimes was a little dull/shallow, i loved him. he was cute and such a sweetheart. he's like the quietly, passive, brooding type that sometimes surprises you how emotional he can be. kendall, you fake, plastic, whore! stay away from him!

btw, did anybody find it ironic or funny that in one of the episodes, veronica is at the hut and talking about how true love would find her someday? and then she turns around and LOGAN is riite there? it's a sign i tell you.

they should change it back to wednesdays i think. the tuesday airing is hurting the ratings. we're in direct competition with House (which is an AWESOME show) and Scrubs (eh...) We're even behind Pepper Dennis!

also, Weevil was so cool. =) glad the biker badass is back.
