picture problem

i didnt know where to post it so i hope it goes here

my friend took some pictures today n i saved them n uploaded them to photobucket.com n since they too big it resizes it so basically it did that n now they look REALLY small like it was taken with a cell phone so overall are there any web sites that i can resize it because i tried resizing it on some programs but it makes it look blurty

What file type are the pictures?
What size are they?
Imageshack usually never shrinks unless its over 1024 kb

Also make sure you don't put a check mark in:
resize image?
remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail?

when doing it @ imageshack.

im NOT trying to shrink them im trying to make them larger

Exactly HOW BIG are you trying to make them?!
What I do is resize my pictures with a program like Fireworks or any image editting program, then upload them.

You can't make them larger through hosting. Thats why I told you not to put a check in those things.

You have to originaly have big images there is no way to enlarge them w/out them being blurred.

Quite right. Unless you rearlly love blurry pictures.
huh.gif But aren't pictures taken from cameras usually huge?

o no wonder i mean i dont get it i uploaded them in they just shrunk to the smallest size ever i dont get this

Well photobucket automatically resizes images.
So ofcourse you odn't upload there.

http://imaageshack.us
doesn't resize often.

What you have to do is just get the pictures on your computer first.
Then upload at diff places. But if the picture is to big ofcourse expect it to be resized.

actually camera phones take really small pictures depending on the type of phone and the service

one time i uploaded the pic from a camera but it didnt resize it a lot

are the images big when you upload them to your computer? because what you can do is take a screen shot of them and save the screen shots and upload them that way

nvm nothing gonna help so basically i just gotta take new pictures up
