I have a confession to make to all you CB members. I have a body abnormality about myself. I was born with 12 fingers not the normal 10 like everyone else.. So really I have 10 fingers && the rest of you guys have 8 b/c the thumb doesn't really count as a finger, but yeahh it's not like WOW she has another finger b/c you can barely notice it b/c it didn't grow all the way when I was in my mother's stomach. So it looks like a pimple basically on the side of my hand, but it's no big deal...

(But I do feel cautious about holding my boyfriend's hand. I'm scared he'll be grossed out)

The other day though I told him I have 12 fingers (actually 10) && he jusst said awwww && still loved me for me.. Now he's in Cali right now, but I'm sure he's going to want to look when he gets back to see if the sight really does gross him out.. pinch.gif

So yeah, I was just wondering if anyone else on CB has any body abnormalities about themselves if not then I guess they're just perfect. It can even be something that you do that is weird that other people find gross or interesting that you have about yourself.. rolleyes.gif

Nothing really visible but I can do a full 360 spin with my hand. I guess I'm just double-jointed so I wouldn't call that anything abnormal.

me and my sister can bend our arms all the way back behind our heads and tuck our elbows behind our neck. it looks really weird cause our shoulder bones stick out lol but we just do it to freak out the people we don't like. we also both have this bone in our nose so it looks kind of like it was broken even tho it wasn't...yeah we're freaks lol :P

Hmm... I have scoliosis. Apparently it's not common in young women, which is what my doctor said in NY. The normal curvature of the spine is off. Mine curves both more outward and more to the right than normal. It's visible but no one besides my family has ever mentioned it to me.

^ Pardon the ignorant question, but do you have pain because of that?

My pinkie toe has just a sliver for a toe-nail. pinch.gif

I don't mean to be obscene but I can sustain erections for a rather long time. This is a defect as I had to get them examined last yr when I entered middle school. The doctor said I just have a dysfunctional blood-flow system of circulation. This is an abnormality but one my friends say I should be thankful for!

Ouch... I hope that doesnt hurt.

I *might* have Long QT Syndrome, which is a heart defect. I'm still being tested so i'm not sure yet. You can only have it if one of your parents has it. So since my mom has it, I have a 50% chance of having it. She and all 3 of her sisters have it. We just found out about it about a year ago, after my aunt went into cardiac arrest and died suddenly in her sleep. Basically, if you know you have the syndrome, you either get a difibulator put in, or medication. With that you can live a normal life...thank god. pinch.gif

I was born with this tiny hole in the cartilage of my upper ear. It looks almost like a piercing, so everyone always asks, "Whoa, when did you get your ears pierced? I never saw that!" rolleyes.gif

I have scoliosis, too. And nope, it doesn't hurt. It just kind of sucks sometimes. For instance, yesterday I was shopping for prom dresses, and though the size would fit my body pretty well, I might need to go up another size for some dresses/styles because of the way my back is shaped.

And my toes are freakishly long. And I can put my legs behind my head, too.

Erm, both my pinkies are crooked. It like bends exactly where my ring finger bends, so it looks like it's stuck together. :|

huh.gif Umm.. I don't think that's a body abnormality, but ok. I was thinking about moving this to health, but I'm not sure if it would fit there.

I have physical illnesses, but not really 'body abnormalities'.

My hips like to randomly pop out of place. Part of the reason for me being so good at those "butterfly" stretches. You know the stretches where you put the soles of your feet together and your knees go up? My knees don't go up. The lie nearly flat against the floor... Yeah. Doesn't hurt like it does for most people either.
And my back is completely straight (I can't curl foward), but that's not really an abnormality.
