I had dreams
About what I would be
I would be a teacher
A writer
An artist
A singer!

So many things that
A silly child would dream
But now as I sit in this grey old smelly cubicle
I think back to those silly little dreams

O where where did my life go wrong?
Why am I now working for this grumpy old boss?
What am I now?

I am a sad little man
That will spend the rest of his days in a
Grey old smelly cubicle
That only sells harmful chemicals

What am I really now?
I am a shadow
That once had dreams
A shadow that thinks back
to a child’s silly little dreams.
