Well i haven't really been watching. I'll probably watch when there are less people and when I have time. Out of the girls, I like Lisa Tucker and Mandisa and maybe some others I don't remember. Out of the guys, I likeD.. Will. Haha. I don't really no anyone else.

GO PARIS! I want her to win; she deserves it. But I also think Elliot should as well.

I threw a fit. I voted for Will for a straight hour. I'm so mad he got kicked off. It was nothing but song choice, hes got a great look and he can really sing. Hes the only gy I really really liked. What got me is that they kept chicken Little. That lisp has got to go. How obnoxious. Booo. The only time I ever voted was that nite. Damn you America! DAMN YOU!!! *ahem* I really can't stand this show either, I was just rooting for the texas boy.

gideon....... should not have gone, i can care less about his personality. especially considering i seriously think he has a social disorder. haha

sorry but, the nerdy guy should have gone before Bucky or Gideon. neither of them deserved to go more than chicken little did. i like him and all, but he's not a better singer. america simply voted him in for the underdog factor. one of the reasons why i dont really like the voting process that much...

^Bucky didn't go, he's still in. And I agree that maybe Kevin shouldn't be in the competition still, but when he found out he was in the top 12.. the look on his face was absolutely priceless.

I didn't like Melissa either, but to be honest I didn't really like Ayla ever, from the time I saw her audition. She has had a good voice at times, but the performance factor is so.. I dunno, she looks so fake up there, she's trying way too hard. And last week she sounded AWFUL, I couldn't believe all the judges told her she sounded good. I honestly don't think there was a good part of the song at all. And I really like that song, too.

I LIKED Will. But I guess he just didn't stand out enough. Very sad. Didn't care for Gedeon whether he can sing or not. *shrug* Kinnik was another one that had a GREAT voice, but she never stood out enough for it to make a difference. However, if her Thursday performance had been Tuesday instead, I think she may have had a different outcome. She was really good on Thursday.

I'm still behind Paris and Taylor overall. However, as for who had the best performance last week, Mandissa was amazing. I've only missed one episode this year, I'm a sad, sad person.

top 12 predictions:

this year's 'shock elimination' (think tamyra gray, jennifer hudson, constantine maroulis) will be the early elimination of either lisa tucker or paris bennett... i see the two of them splitting votes... i lean towards paris... i find her grating, while lisa is just lovely, although it could easily be the other way around

the first four to go will be (in no particulalr order) melissa, kevin, bucky, and... this one is hard, but im going with kellie... with katharine mcphee in the competition, and carrie underwood comparisons, i dont see her having a lot of staying power.

so that takes us to eight... i see the next three to go being elliot (who will, unfortunately lose votes to chris), either paris/lisa, depending on who loses out, and katharine. katharine is superb, but isnt on the same level as mandisa or paris, and isnt as likeable as lisa. nor does she have the fan base of chris, ace, or taylor.

so, a top five of mandisa, chris, taylor, ace and either paris or lisa (we'll say paris for the sake of ease).

ace will be the next to go, as he doesnt measure up to the others in terms of talent, and looks will take you only so far.

i believe that chris will inherit most of elliot's votes, and paris will get the same boost from lisa. this will give the two a boost over taylor and mandisa, who will take third and fourth place, in any order.

that leaves us with paris and chris... i THINK out of those two chris probably has the edge... plus will get a good many of taylor's votes, which will probably give him the edge over paris, even if she does get mandisa's votes...

so, with paris n second place, that leaves CHRIS DAUGHTRY as this year's american idol. we'll see how right i am

Ahh, I can't stand Pickler!! Her vocals don't compare to other contestants and the whole "cute dumb blonde" thing feels so forced. She is like trying to be Jessica Simpson but not nearly as talented.

^Lisa especially, when i heard she was in the bottom three i was like what?!?! Kevin Covais should definitely be in the bottom three. He's cute and all but this is a competition and there are SO many better singers than him. The only reason he's still in the competition is probably because these little teenagers vote for him. Probably the same little teens that buy hilary duff CD's.

lisa... meh. she is a less exciting version of paris bennett (although personally i find paris annoying), and she is losing votes accordingly. when you think of the 'young girl' on AI, you immediatly think of paris, and that is going to cost lisa. although, as they both survived, it WILL help both Ace and Lisa for their fans to get this wake up call early on. Katie said it... 'maybe i should actually vote!' they're safe for a few more weeks because of this, the fan bases will make sure of that.

bucky is sort of like a believable version of kellie pickler... he still seems country and kinda raw, but isnt obnoxious or fake about it. and he's growing on me.

kevin needs to go home. now. smart mouthing simon = my ultimate pet peeve.
