Okay, its a long story and I really can't go into it, but I need a trademark icon type thing. I'd do it but I can't seem to come up with anything exciting or original. At this point, all I need is something to front a website, be on things like a bumper sticker possible or t-shirts. The name is J'anelle Avery. Its music related, r&b/rock/pop star wise and all that, so I need glitz and glam and functionality. Its alomost a contest, but I don't really have a prize. All I can say is your work could be plastered all over stuff and you will get designer credit whereveer its used. I couldn't think of any where better to find people than cB since some many of y'all are so talented. So yeah, I have no color restrictions, just make it fun. I may need multiple ones don't don't be scared to do a bunch of designs. Theres no deadline, but I'd like to have it before I don't know, April? I really appreciate any of you who take the time to do this. I'll probably be updating this post a lot from now on. Let me know if you have any questions.

Requirements

Use the name J'anelle Avery. you can abbreviate it anyway you like, just make sure its there.

Make it big enough to use on a shirt and that it can be sized down for the web.


Style Types

Any kind really, however I'm quite fond of Vector styled art with stripes and splashes and things. Just be creative and give me what you do.




This is for a singer, so if you want to throw music related stuff in that would be great. Also, whether you make make it cutsey or dramatic, anything can and probably will be used.

Basically these are some things that no matter when or where you see them or things that look like them you are reminded of what they represent. I need something memorable most importantly. And I really would like it to be more artistic than most of these.



















As you see most of these are things we've seen before. Its all about marketing really. I want stuff people will not only identify with, but wouldnt mind wearing on a shirt or a hat. No not a hat, the hat is ugly. lol. But also, like I love the 3rd from bottom grammy logo, they used color and creativity more than the others, so something like that would be great too.

Attitude and music. Other than that theres nothing in particular I have in mind at this point. I want something that is catching and that will appeal to all sorts of audiences. I want something that can represent creativity and inpsiraton to people. The number one purpose of it is to draw people in and make them interested. I need to get them to click, or to buy, or basically to be intrigued. As long as its something that can represent a young adult female artist with a large amount of mainstream appeal and not make it look like "Oh shes emo, or pop, or hip hop, or whatnot. I want it to make people ask questions, not make conclusions necessarily. If that makes sense lol. I'm putting some examples up in a minute.

Can be done in different colors etc.

Hey thats a really cute idea. The only thing is that I'm looking for a lot more glitz and glamour. More color and life. Its a great start but its a little dull. Like it needs some shine. But its a great concept to start with. Add some stars or some sparkle to it. And pink would definately be a better color lol. And thank you so much for doing this! I really appreciate it girly!

Okay so I was really bored and I was messing around with it in photoshop and this is what I came up with. I'm just thrilled with it or anything, it was just my attempt to glam it up a bit. Obviously its your base thingy, but I was feeling pinkish :) Click it, the thumbnail looks like crap. And I don't know how crazy I am about the saturn ring now that its there. boo.

I dont know, it seems to me since I'm getting people to make peices of digital art, that it would go in the digital art forum. But maybe I'm wrong.

Well, digital art is for showcase while graphic design is for help. I think a request would go in graphic design. So, I agree with Toya but I'll leave it for now (I'd rather have another opinion) so it doesn't keep getting moved back and forth.

So anyone else have any ideas? I'm looking for some other stuff too! I'm making a flash site right now and I would love to be able to put it on there...Besides, I can't have people vote for the best if theres only one to choose from.

I havent really been able to think of anything else because I think we need more info on what you want , like on your personalities and the colors , simple or complicated stuff like that.
