So my mom bought a bag of spinach, then she told me to put them in this bowl and wash them with flour. So as I do that, when I pour the spinach into the bowl, this DEAD GRASSHOPPER falls out with the spinach. We never got around to calling the company about it.

well... i bought a CD, summer of 2004, and there was a dead mosquito in the case... as in, inside. its still in there and i cant get it out :P

Um....because they were. They were very short and black and slightly curly. Maybe I'll smell one next time (there WILL be one) if you want to be absolutely sure.

oh, and one time I opened a box of oatmeal and there were little moths in it everywhere :(

nothing mentioned is really out of the ordinary. bugs found in food is a common thing especially in restaurants, bugs need to eat too...

Well, I've encountered the standard hair in my food at times.

But at school my teacher found a roach BAKED INTO her pizza. OMG. [dies]

I was just talking bout that wiht my fellow employees. We found a bird's body inside a bag of apples.

In Taiwan, I went to this restauraunt. Steak and noodles on those black grill things. Yeahh. Well in the soup there were dead, floating ants. I ate like the one fourths of the soup. And then my Taiwan friend just ate the ants, and said it was nutritious and high in calcium.

And in this restaurant here, "Loon Wah" or something, we found this piece of glass in the soup. My dad got angry and called the manager. And then the manager offered to discount everything and my dad just said no. I didn't see the point in calling the manager.

So then my dad pays the tip and leaves. We've never been to that place again.

Last one: A beer cap inside a chinese takeout box. =D

i think hair can be even more disgusting than finding a bug in your food. i mean a bug is like shocking and people scream. but hair? UGH. it just makes you. ew.

its hilarious how when hair is on your head, its so precious, then when it falls out, its the most disgusting thing in the world.
like when its all over in the drain in your shower/bathtub. EW. NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE IT OUT.

Once I went to Carvel and found a roach in one of the tubs of ice cream. I think it was pistachio...

WOAH. a dead grasshopper. wow if it that was me i would have been like running around the whole house screaming my head off and like never eat another package of spinach anymore without having it thurougly (sp) checked.

as for me myself finding anything in packages; i dont think i've found any live creatures but i have seen cockaroches crawling around the house which grosses me out so i barely eat at home now.

oh i forgot about this one. I found a live moth inside a tofu square last year. Now that was nasty
