and really, people go into both, so it's not like it would be different posting a girls only topic in a common locker.

alright, im going to use my special executive powers to make some changes. like, right now. i remember there was a time in cb history changes were made shiftly. seems like it doesnt happen often anymore.

today its more like ... deliberation, deliberation, deliberation until the topic fades into everyone's memories. so, in the spirit of the old cb, when cb was still new, i shall remove the following subforums in interests:

-current events
-health
-sports

and move them to the louge. this way we can have a more active lounge again! weeee!

Justin, that sounds like a nice idea. Michael is right; the two can't really be differentiated by much. It would take a lot of moving and merging. What would be a good name for it?

i agree with michael and justin regarding locker rooms...

if they were merged, perhaps it could fall under the same general heading as relationships?

Bad idea. "omg my first perioddddd" doesn't exactly fit into relationships.

^x2That sounds nice. I like getting rid of the seperate lockers.

I also really like Anna's set up. Yes, it would take a lot of merging and what not, but it would make more sense. You could even hire some people just for that if you don't want to do the work.

Perhaps we could have a merged locker for the less gender-specific topics, and in that, we could have separate girls/boys? Cause there are some gender-specific topics...

thats true, but still yet, guys and girls still post in gender-related topics even if they are not of the gender.

So? They're still gender-specific. "i'm leaking into my panties and it looks like cauliflower" may interest some guys, but I'm sure most aren't ready to see that up and out there.

I agree with that Sammi, I'm in the girls' locker room alot and there way more gender specfic topics than topics that can apply to both boys and girls.

For the lockers, I was thinking, "Since most girls/guys reply to the others' topics, why not just have one generalized locker?" like many other members have already suggested. Gender-specific topics relating to periods or whatever could go into a subforum within the lockers with a rule having people specify in the title which gender their topic is directed to in the thread ("MALE" or "FEMALE" before the topic title). Not sure if that would work.

If you're going to combine the lockers, I don't see why health topics wouldn't also fit in there...particularly since it's not actually an interest

Combining Current Events/Debate would be funny. The current debate topics won’t be easy to search. I have a feeling that people will post millions of current events which would cover the debate topic.

mellow.gif I think it's better to have 2 separate forums for genders than to have topic titles mentioned "male" or "female". What is the big difference?

If we're just going to label topics Male/Female, then do we really need a subforum for them? Just put them with the rest.
