Do you ever feel there is a time where something irrelevant or small is happening, yet for some reason, you HAVE to do it?

For example, many people can't tand to have books/cutlery and stuff out of order in a room. Now, I'm not THAT bad, but I've noticed that when I'm drinking stuff at the computer, I have to wait until I've stopped drinking, because I HAVE to type with both hands...yes...I'm estranged...anyway, the other thing I HAVE to do is crack my knuckles, but that's more of a habbit.

I USED to hate standing on cracks on the pavement, but not so much now, though....
I know that I don't HAVE to do these things, but I feel a strong need to do it, and if I don't, it'll just annoy me? I probably have a compulsive disorder...

Anyway, do you have anything along these lines?...

well, whenever i get into a car, no matter how short or long the distance is, i HAVE to wear my seat belt.

^That's a habit (unless you were being sarcastic).

On a different note, why do people do "^" that instead of simply quoting the person? It saves time, effort and confusion...

yes..i cant have my room messy before going to bed. ive actually tried many times to sleep while my room is messy but i just end up cleaning it before i fall asleep because it bothers me.

I can't stand seeing my Manga not in Alphabetical order.... So if I have Fruits Basket collection behind the Aishiteruzu Baby collection, I WILL DIE.

i always have to clean my hand when they start feeling slightly icky.

i can't not wash my hands before i eat. seriously, i can't believe some people actually eat with not freshly cleansed hands...

Haha. Having stuff lying around on my desk is one thing I have to clean up. I can't stand having a messy room.

I like having the recycling bin [the computer kind] empty. So whenever I see something in it, I go straight to "empty recycling bin."

Unless there's something semi-important in there.

Yeah, same here. Which is why I do the recycle bin thing.

Agh. If I leave a cupboard door half closed, then I have to go back and push it all the way shut. Or I can't sleep.

This gets me in trouble all the time. =X I simply have to rearrange things. When I'm browsing through books, All the #1 books go together, all the #2 books go together... And so on. Same with DVD's.
&I have to spin my locker lock once and tug the handle. Every time.

I sometimes have to have my room somewhat organized before starting on my homework or going out.

I HAVE to do my homework. I'm not one of those people who don't do their homework :-\

haha i have to make sure the counters and tables are CLEAR...no dishes cups, etc...lols...even if someone is still drinking something out of a cup and they leave it on the counter...i can't sleep not knowing if its in the sink or not.....

i HAVE to sleep in a bed that is made.... so i basically make my bed right before going to sleep :P

i ALWAYS have to be specific .

if i'm cooking something in the microwave, and the package says " Ready in 5 minutes ! ", i'll put 5:06


if someone tells me to be somewhere, i'll say " okay ill be there in like ... 8 minutes "

i can never get myself to say 5 minutes, or 10 minutes
