Like many quotes from movies, I think of Valentine's Day nothing more but a holiday made up by certain companies in order to make a huge profit in the month of February (considering it's the only month without a holiday, besides August).

To answer your questions:

I have done nothing nor gotten nothing for my significant other, and I think it's also an opportunity for girls to get their significant other, something.

Well this is the first vday for me, when i actually have a b/f. so it should be good, plus feb. 14 is our 6th month mark

In 8th grade my good friend, who apparantly liked me, found out my locker combination, put a rose, candy, a card, and a teddy bear in it. His friends and him like followed me between classes, waiting for me to open my locker. It was SO CUTE! I don't know what's going on for Valentine's day this year with my boyfriend, but I'm sure it will be great.

erm. i just think of valentine's day a day merely to celebrate who you love, not necessarily for a guy to get a girl or vice versa. =P

Eh, I don't like Valentine's Day. It's a really commercial holiday. But anyways, my boyfriend and I won't be able to see each other on Valentine's Day anyways (he has classes and I have a class 'trip'). So, we're gonna 'celebrate' on Friday. I'm planning on buying him a dozen roses, then making him a rose out of duct tape and getting him a fake rose and putting them together and giving it to him, and say that "I'll love you until the last rose dies." Yeah, I know it's cliche and guys normally get flowers for the girls, but I decided to put a spin on it.
I'm also planning on getting him something else.

We've been together for 14 months and counting!

2 years ago, my exboyfriend got me the love-y dove-y pink Carebear and an acoustic CD. I made him a really cheesy card.

Last year, my current boyfriend bought me a dozen red roses and cute card. I made him a card and a CD with songs that reminded him of me.

This year, we agreed not to do major gifts (We have been dating for 13 months). I did say that he should buy me 1 single rose. I will make him a card and probably something with our pictures in it.

Ive usually just gotten teddy bears, candy roses, roses, and boxed chocolates from both friends and boyfriends/boys who liked me. I sometimes buy little knickknacks for close friends, something nice for a boyfriend and make little packages of candy for everyone (:

I usually get sad around Valentines day though. Its the time of year when most people are feeling the love in the air. Im just ... feeling air. (:
